started agitation for Biafra – Uwazuruike tells Ango Abdullahi

  Ralph Uwazuruike, leader of MASSOB said the killing of Igbos in Northern states stirred agitation for Biafra.  The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has revealed why it began agitation for independent of the defunct Republic of Biafra.  Uwazuruike disclosed this when he played host to convener of the Northern Elders Council, Professor Ango Abdullahi, in his Owerri residence on Tuesday. He further stated that Igbos were still being killed in the North, appealing to Abdullahi to help stop the bloodshed. He said,  There is no doubt that a lot of senseless bloodshed is still going on periodically in the Northern Nigeria today. IPOB group tells Army to call off Operation Python Dance 3 or it revives militant activities

  Following the disclosure by the Nigerian Army that it will soon commence its Operation Python Dance 3 in the South East, BNYL, had said it  won’t take it  Biafra Nations Youth League, BNYL, on Tuesday threatened to revive militants activities in the Niger Delta if Operation Python Dance 3 was allowed in the South East. TODAY NEWS : Boko Haram attacks another military base in Borno

  The Nigerian Army on Sunday confirmed the terror attack on Gudumbali, saying that its combined troops of 82 Division Task Force Brigade and 158 Task Force Battalion repelled the attack and were restoring normalcy in the area. Boko Haram terrorists have staged a fresh attack on a military base in Baga in the Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State, a day after they invaded Gudumbali area in the Guzamala Local Government Area and sacked the residents.  The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig Gen Texas Chukwu, said the terrorists  set some buildings ablaze in the community but no casualty was recorded.
