Harry Kane: Some Liverpool fans worried after ‘nightmare’ development with Harry Kane

 

Liverpool fans admit that they are concerned over reports that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane could join Manchester City.

Sky Sports broke the bombshell news last night that Kane wants to leave Tottenham and City have made contact over doing a deal.

While that is a concern for Spurs fans, it also has caused some anxiety around Anfield with Liverpool supporters.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have formed somewhat of a rivalry with City in recent years.

Liverpool and City have been the two standout Premier League sides, and have competed against each other for major honours regularly.

While Liverpool have fallen away this term, there is an expectation that they will improve when their key players return from injury.

But with Kane involved at the Etihad Stadium, Liverpool fans fear that Pep Guardiola’s men could be simply uncatchable.

City do appear to have one missing piece of the jigsaw which Kane would surely fulfill.

The Tottenham man has been the Premier League’s most prolific scorer in recent years, and if he was given the service that City’s midfield could provide then it would be extremely difficult to see any side keeping pace with Guardiola’s men.
