Former Manchester United captain, Roy Keane, has criticised Bruno Fernandes for his ‘play-acting’ during their 4-2 defeat to Liverpool on Thursday night.
According to Keane, Fernandes spent, “half the night crying on the side of the pitch”.
Fernandes opened the scoring within 10 minutes, but goals from Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah saw Liverpool take all three points.
Keane was, however, left unimpressed by the Portuguese’s attitude during the match.
“I’ll be critical of Fernandes, he spent half the night crying on the side of the pitch.
“Every time he got tackled he was rolling around,” Keane fumed on Sky Sports.
