IPOB’s sit-at-home order Total compliance in Nnamdi Kanu’s home state, Abia

  Residents of Umuahia, the Abia State capital, on Monday, complied totally with the sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).  THE RESTORATION OF BIAFRA NATION  recalls that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), led by the Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, had ordered a sit-at-home on May 31st across states in the South-East in honour of the over 5 million Biafrans massacred during the 1967- 1970 civil war.   Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has declared that the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) cannot give a sit-at-home order to the people of his state because they are not part of South-East. Wike, speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday, reiterated that IPOB doesn’t exist in Rivers.   Many injured as explosion rocks Mile 3 market in Port Harcourt Many persons have sustained different degrees of injury after an explosion rocked parts of Mile 3 market in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital. THE RESTORATION OF BIAFRA NATION It was gathered that the explosion occurred at the dry fish section of the market around 6.20am when traders were bringing in their goods and others were opening for business. In the confusion that ensued, two persons were severely injured, while scores, mostly women, suffered various degrees of injuries. Confirming the development, the spokesman of the Rivers State Police Command, SP. Nnamdi Omoni, told newsmen that police operatives have been deployed to the scene of the incident to ascertain what happened. He also stated that the injured persons have been rushed to a nearby hospital while no life was lost in the incident.

Security agencies have repeatedly linked the ESN to the killing of security personnel and destruction of government facilities in South-East and South-South States.   Biafra: Details of Nnamdi Kanu meeting with UN emerge   Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, on Thursday, disclosed that issues concerning the Biafran people were before the various arms and agencies of the United Nations, adding that Biafra’s case would no longer be swept under the carpet. The IPOB leader had led a delegation to a series of meetings with various UN agencies and officials at Geneva where he presented Biafra’s plight on Tuesday.   IPOB’s sit-at-home order registers total compliance in Anambra [PHOTOS]   The sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Monday registered total compliance in cities across Anambra State. Markets, banks, motor parks and other commercial places, including schools and government offices, were under lock and key.
