COVID-19 Cleric seeks prayers for Abba Kyari

The President of Southern Youth Development Forum and General Overseer of Royal House of Faith, Pastor Bassey James, has called for urgent prayers for the quick recovery of the Chief of Staff to president Muhammed Buhari, Mallam Abba Kyari and other Nigerians infected with the deadly COVID-19 virus.
James made the call at his Royal House of House Faith Ministry’s headquarter, Lekki Lagos when some other concerned clerics joined him for special prayers.
He told journalists that the clerics had commenced intercessory prayers for the Chief of Staff, shortly after media reports confirmed that Kyari tested positive.

We have mobilised ministers across the nation to pray for the Chief of Staff’s quick recovery,” James further disclosed.
He noted that Kyari has rendered selfless services to the country as well as committed himself to the progress of Nigeria while serving the President with unbroken loyalty.
“On this premise, I urge all Nigerians to pray and equally be hopeful because Kyari is at the moment receiving medical attention in a specialised facilities somewhere in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

“At this point, I sincerely congratulate the Lagos State government for being the rally point and other places providing ideal isolation centers for the treatment Coronavirus at a time the entire world is lives in dread of the strange disease,” James said.
He also advised the President to remain calm because ‘God will intervene and save Nigerians from pandemic.’
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) Alhaji Ali Gambo, said that he is also mobilising Muslims and clerics to join the special prayers for Kyari including other Nigerians who are already infected by Covid-19 virus.
“Abba Kyari has been a strong Muslim, who have also put in so much for the wellbeing of the Nigeria project. I urge every Nigerian to support the Chief of Staff to the President and other infected person, with their prayersat this point in time ” Gambo said.
Elder Uche Idechukwuka, a clearing and forwarding mogul and one of the coordinators of the prayer movement from the south east, appealed to Nigerians pray and not to politicize the issue noting; “The time has come for all Nigeria to genuinely to unite and rise above partisan politics.
