The President General of Afaraukwu Development Union, Chief J.C. Ezebuiro said Ikpeazu knows what to do to reunited Kanu’s father with members of the community. Ezebuiro made the appeal when people of Afaraukwu Ibeku community paid Ikpeazu a courtesy call at the state’s Government House in Umuahia, the state capital, yesterday. Members of the Afaraukwu community in Abia State have called on the State Governor, Ikezie Ikpeazu, to ensure that their elusive traditional ruler and father of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, HRM Eze Sir I.O.Kanu was reunited with his family. Pa Kanu has been missing since September 2017 when military officers invaded the traditional ruler’s palace in Afaraukwu community. Speaking during the visit, Ezebuiro said, Eze Ibeawuchi can tell some applauded the Governor for his developmental strides and assured him of the support of the community in his re-election bid. O. Kanu, The Egwu Ukwu II of Afaraukwu. We believe that the Governor being a true son of Igboland will know what to do in order to reunite our traditional ruler with our community.
The detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has sent an important message to his followers over the Biafra movement. The embattled separatist according to one of his brothers, Prince Kanu Meme, has asked his disciples to trust and comply with directives from the Directorate of State (DOS). Boasting his belief in the separatist movement’s administrative structure, Kanu said “I’m DOS and DOS is me”.
