Good day readers you are all welcome back to our weekly HARD TRUTH we sincerely Apologize for the break, on behalf of our hard truth team we say happy new month and a prosperous new year in advance, as we all are getting set for this festival season you know how we do it here , if you want to get the Undiluted truth with pure facts and figures then you must watch out for ( The Biafra Post) weekly hard truth cause it Systematic ,Expository and above all we say it the way it is. this week we are looking at the topic : SLAVERY THE NEVER END WAR and your host are GODWIN .J. CHINEDU and Mazi odirachinma Ezeobi Slavery from time immemorial extends to many cultures, nationalities, and religions However the social, economic, and legal positions of slaves were vastly different in different systems, it was common and legal among ancient peoples since Mesopotamian Code of Hammurabi (c. 1860 BC). Abraham Lincoln and other leaders of the anti-slavery Republican Party in late 1850's before the American Civil War tried to stop slavery from extending into the new territories and states in the American West ,This policy was unacceptable to most Southern politicians, who believed that the growth of free states would turn the U.S. power structure irrevocably against them. In November 1860, Lincoln’s election as president signaled the secession of seven Southern states and the formation of the Confederate States of America.
In 1862, while the war was ongoing the Congress annulled the fugitive slave laws, prohibited slavery in the U.S. territories, and authorized Lincoln to employ freed slaves in the army. The Emancipation Proclamation transformed the Civil War from a war against secession into a war for “a new birth of freedom,” as Lincoln stated in his Gettysburg Address in 1863, to many it's the Beginning of a global end to slavery. Saudi Arabia and Yemen also abolished slavery in (1962) two years after in (1964) The sixth World Muslim Congress, the world's oldest Muslim organization, pledges global support for all anti-slavery movements, before now many other countries who have abolished slavery. (1781) Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II abolishes serfdom in the Austrian Habsburg dominions. (1787) The Society for the Abolition of the Slave Trade is founded in Britain. (1789) During the French Revolution, the National Assembly adopts the Declaration of the Rights of Man, one of the fundamental charters of human liberties. The first of 17 articles states: “Men are born and remain free and equal in rights. (1803) Denmark-Norway became the first country in Europe to ban the African slave trade, forbidding trading in slaves and ending the importation of slaves into Danish dominions. (1807) The British Parliament makes it illegal for British ships to transport slaves and for British colonies to import them. U.S. President Thomas Jefferson signs into law the Act Prohibiting of Slaves, forbidding the importation of African slaves into the United States. (1813) Sweden, a nation that never authorized slave traffic, consents to ban the African slave trade, to mention but few. Since then we are made to understand that slavery have been totally and completely eradicated from human race in all way, shape and form but the truth remains that it may be eradicated from our Western counterpart but not for Black Africans and Africans in general as the current events in Libya tells you all you need to know , the European colonial powers claimed to have put a global end to slavery while they Hypocritically introduced what i called an upgraded or should i say a civilized slavery, African today are physically and mentally trapped in bondage against their will either in some form of slavery or serfdom.

Just like the Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo speech on meeting the French president Emmanuel Macron, calling for Africa to end its dependency on the West , the truth is that Africans depending of the western world for aid and many more is not out of choice but a grand conspiratorial system set up by the European colonial master's to politically, socially and Economically enslave Africa, is't it Ironic that as we today cry out against the barbaric act of slavery in this 21st century as seen in Libya, African and their so-called African Union (AU) and Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) are still waiting sheepishly on the western powers such as The European Union (EU) , the United Nations (UN) and the colonial masters to run to our aid. Many words and comments has been made in regard to the crime against humanity going on in Libya but we have failed to ask why is it that this young and vibrant youth have chosen to serve as slavery in Various European countries than staying in the Shares of their respective home land (countries) few day ago the Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, said some Nigerians trapped in Libya have refused to come home despite the ongoing hardship they are subjected to in the country’s slave trade market. It's a clear Indication that the western colonial master's ranch or company known as African is not working ,the system they the( colonial masters) left for our founding fathers upon independence ( on quote ) has failed and there is an urgent need for decolonization , there is a huge wave of agitation for self-determination in various parts of Africa today , being championed by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu led Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) calling for the restoration of the Sovereign state of Biafra from the British created contraption called Nigeria , funny enough the British government have turned deaf ear not to hear our call for self-determination, after seeing the suffering and pain many Nigerians and other African nationalities go through in Libya just to earn a greener pastures, many a being feed to wild beasts, many Drawn into The Mediterranean Sea while some face unseen horrible situation, i can't help it than demand an explanation from the British Members of Parliament (MPs) led by Prime Minister Theresa May on what they mean by saying they support the territorial integrity of Nigeria , a failed state like Nigeria that have no common value system ,a Nigerian that has no good road, no social amenities , no good education , no drinking water , no good infrastructure , a fantastically corrupt Nigeria that her youth's have chosen to be slaves in other land than being part of it (Nigeria) The high rate of hypocrisy is alarming cause the same British government watch with their two eyes open when the Bakassi peninsula was taken and caved into Cameroon, the Hypocritically war against slavery will never end if Africans are not ready to free her own self from the trap of Mental ,physical , political, social and Economical slavery by the colonial Master's and a bold step to achieving this fit is for the member nations of both Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and African Union (AU) to pass their vote of confidence on the upcoming Biafra Referendum and the total restoration of Biafra. like they said In Biafra Africa died, and in the restoration of Biafra will not only African live never to die no more but the entire Black race. The world must not fail to acknowledge the fact that any type of slavery that made a man to reject his home and opt to serve as a Slave in a foreign land is more dangerous than death. Many are busy crying about this Libya evil while more wicked acts of dehumanization is ongoing in most African states, take for example in Nigeria, the Biafran race is being subjugated to the worst condition of slavery and penury but no body is talking about it. If the international communities is ready to eradicate slave trade, let the evil done in Africa in name of colonization and post colonial influences be resolved. Let Africans decide their future so they can create an enabling environment for survival. When that is done, men will no longer run away from home to find the meaning of life in a strange land.
