BIAFRA NEWS : Nigeria decides 2023: EFCC arrives Tinubu’s Polling Unit

  Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Saturday stormed the Polling Unit of the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu. The operatives arrived at PU 085,Ward 3, Sunday Adigun, Alausa in Ikeja, Lagos State, for Inspection of the voting process. Tinubu is one of the leading presidential candidates contesting to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari. During his campaign, the APC flag bearer had vowed to win Saturday’s election.

BIAFRA NEWS : Nigeria Decides 2023, Peter Obi arrives polling unit, expresses optimism

  The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Mr. Peter Obi has arrived in PU 019, Umudimakasi Square, Agulu, Anambra State, for the presidential election.  reports that Obi spoke upon arrival at his polling unit, expressing optimism of victory at the polls. Asked about his chances of winning the election, the former Anambra State governor said: “I am very optimistic. BIAFRA NEWS : Federal lawmaker reacts to sit-at-home order by Biafra agitator

  Uju Kingsley Chima, a member of the House of Representatives, has reacted to the sit-at-home order by Simon Ekpa’s faction of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB. Recall that the outlawed separatist group had threatened to issue a sit-at-home order in the South East during Saturday’s general elections. Speaking on Arise TV on Thursday afternoon, Chima rubbished the sit-at-home order by Ekpa, insisting that over 3, 000 people came out for rallies in the South East ahead of this weekend’s general election. Chima said: “The question we are asking today is who are the persons declaring these [orders]. I told you about an incident yesterday where policemen were claiming to be unknown gunmen at one of the rallies. BIAFRA NEWS : Simon Ekpa released by Finnish Police after hours of questioning

  A popular pro-Biafra separatist agitator, Simon Ekpa, has been released by Police in Finland, hours after he was arrested and grilled on Thursday, according to HS. Earlier in the day, Ekpa was escorted out of his apartment in Lahti by Finnish policemen. He was later released after the police allegedly arrested him for a suspected crime. The Finnish Central Criminal Police has now confirmed Ekpa’s release on Thursday. The police claimed Ekpa’s arrest was in connection with the ongoing preliminary investigation.   “The person being questioned today is suspected of a crime. We will return to the title on Friday,” Tommi Reen from the Central Criminal Police told HS during a phone interview. Ekpa, a self-acclaimed disciple of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, had repeatedly ordered the people of the South-East to observe a sit-at-home and asked them to boycott the country’s general elections billed for Saturday.

   African Democratic Congress (ADC) has dissociated itself from the purported endorsement  Trustees, Senator Patricia Akwashiki, described the alleged endorsements as fraudulent, void and of no effect. The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has dissociated itself from the purported endorsement of other political parties and their candidates for 2023 by a faction of the party. Earlier, there was a report that ADC has endorsed the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, for the Saturday's presidential election.The purported endorsement was held at the River Plate Gardens in Abuja on Monday morning. BIAFRA NEWS : ESN will hunt down Ebubeagu – IPOB reacts to ban of security outfit

  The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has directed the Eastern Security Network, ESN, to hunt down operatives of the Southeast Security Network, Ebubeagu. IPOB issued the directive while noting that the days of Ebubeagu men are numbered in the Southeast. Emma Powerful, the Spokesman of IPOB, issued the directive in response to the disbandment of the Ebubeagu outfit by the Federal High Court sitting in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. The disbandment followed human rights abuses, extortions, illegal arrests and use of firearms perpetuated by the security outfit. Reacting to the ruling, Powerful described Ebubeagu as political thugs that have committed many atrocities and genocides against Imo and Ebonyi indigenes and all Biafrans in general.
