How IPOB can get Nnamdi Kanu released – VON DG, Okechukwu

  Osita Okechukwu, Director-General, Voice of Nigeria (VON), has advised the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to join the Ohanaeze Ndigbo to seek political solution regarding Nnamdi Kanu’s release. He opined this would help the South-East pursue its presidential ambition. Okechukwu gave the advise on Sunday in a chat with reporters in Enugu. “IPOB should join Prof. George Obiozor-led Ohanaeze Ndigbo to kill two birds with one stone”, he counseled.   Ohanaeze Ndigbo has described Thursday’s court appearance of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as a victory for the body. The group had called on President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure Kanu was produced in court on Thursday, stressing that such assurance was expedient to prove to the global community that the IPOB leader is not only hale and hearty but that shady judicial processes were not contemplated while on trial.
