Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide, on Tuesday, warned northern governors against insisting on producing President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor in 2023.

Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the Ohanaeze Secretary-General, warned that another northern president would fuel the agitation for Oduduwa Republic and Biafra nation.

Isiguzoro, in a statement he signed, accused the northern governors of being the proponents of Nigeria’s breakup.

He noted that another northern president would be faced with challenges that would make it difficult for him to rule Nigeria.

The statement reads: “The Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide maintained that attempts to jettison the rotational presidency in 2023, and the North insisting to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari will be unfavorable and weaknesses towards sustaining the unity and stability in the country as it will favor the declarations of Oduduwa and Biafra nations by 2024.

“Northern Governors’ miscalculation on 2023 and meandering on blind excitements of opposing the position of southern Governors’ standpoints had put the Northern Governors as exponents of Nigeria’s breakup”.

“If another Northerner succeeds President Buhari in 2023, he/she might not be able to be the superintendent over the affairs of the country as Nigeria might face brutal challenges from secessionist groups with full backing up from ethnic groups as a result of a revolt against the injustice against South and excesses of the North.

“Ndigbo may join with IPOB, to declare for Biafra restoration in the event of any conspiracy against the 2023 Igbo Presidency, Northern Governors should apologize to Nigerians for these subversive and provocative responses to 2023 Southern Presidency or should face the consequences of unable to read the mood of the nation with favors the southern presidency of Igbo bloc”.

Biafra Agitator, Simon Ekpa Writes Finland President To Support Disintegration Of Nigeria

 

The Finland-based Biafra agitator told Niinisto to make other Presidents aware that the disintegration of Nigeria is the remedy to the alleged genocide 

imon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed disciple of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has petitioned the Finland President, Sauli Niinisto to assist secession agitators in Nigeria.

The Finland-based Biafra agitator told Niinisto to make other Presidents aware that the disintegration of Nigeria is the remedy to the alleged genocide in the South-East and killing of Christians in the country.

Ekpa disclosed this on his Facebook page on Friday.

"BREAKING! 
"On this day 24th September 2021, I have submitted official communication on Biafra to the President of Finland, with over 70 pages of annexes. 

"I was accompanied by one of our brother, Mr. Chika Madu. 

"The genocide against Biafra and Christians in Nigeria has only one solution. The solution is disintegration. 

"There is only one solution to the terrorism in Nigeria and in Sahel region. The solution is disintegration. 

"It is therefore very imperative, for every peace-loving President anywhere in the world, to be part of disintegrating of Nigeria for lasting peace in Africa and beyond. 

"I am Simon Ekpa, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s Disciple on Biafra Restoration," Ekpa wrote.

 

BIAFRA NEWS : CNN discovers location of ‘Radio Biafra’ in London

 For years now, Nigerians have asked for the location of ‘Radio Biafra’, a network of internet-based amateur radio stations broadcasting the agenda of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Yesterday, the Cable News Network, CNN, discovered a tucked away down a quiet, leafy street in Peckham, southeast London, the registered address of the group.

CNN described the place as a suburban spot, saying that it is the unlikely location of Radio Biafra.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu founded IPOB in 2012 and established Radio Biafra in 2009. The group was created to restore an independent state of Biafra.

Radio Biafra was also created to disseminate, enlighten, educate, inform and criticise the activities of the Nigerian government by Kanu.

IPOB was banned by the Federal government in 2017. However, in October 19, 2015, Kanu was arrested for treasonable felony, sedition, and ethnic incitement. He was released on bail in 2017 and fled to the UK.   

IPOB has criticized the Nigerian federal government for poor investment, political alienation, inequitable resource distribution, ethnic marginalization, heavy military presence, extra-judicial killings in the South-Eastern, South-Central and parts of North-Central regions of the country.

He was re-arrested in Keyan and brought back to Nigeria to face his charges.

The reaction trails the resolution of governors of the 19 Northern states over the rotational presidency.

The northern governors rejected the position of their Southern colleagues that the 2023 presidency should be zoned to the Southern part of the country, arguing that the presidency is a democratic office and not a rotational position.

The Southern governors had in a meeting in July in Lagos State demanded that power must shift to their region.

However, arising from an emergency meeting with Northern traditional rulers at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna, on Monday, the Northern Governors Forum said the region could not be compelled to give up a democratically elected office that could be sought by any person irrespective of where he comes from.

The forum added that though some Northern governors had earlier expressed views for a power-shift to three geo-political zones in the South, with a view to promoting unity and peace in the nation, the statement by the Southern Governors Forum that the Presidency must go to the South is unacceptable.
