bitcoincash:qr0q0enjpvffsmvm9730ctkfsx48a934mcgzqffda3

A few days ago I have connected my read.cash wallet to the bitcoin.com wallet. This has several advantages:

  • I always get a notification when my read.cash account received satoshis,

  • I can deposit and withdraw money without using the read.cash wallet

  • I can see all transactions made in my read.cash account.

  • If I lose access to my read.cash account (e.g. forget my password), I will still have access to my read.cash wallet.

Since it is very practical and maybe not all of you know how to do it, I decided to write a little description for the read.cash users

First you have to write down your seed phrase if you haven't done it yet. To do it, click on the wallet sign and then on "Backup my wallet".

Then scroll down and click on the big grey button

and write down your seed phrase.

Then you have to install and start the Bitcoin.com wallet. Now you must click on the plus sign (+Add).

In the following steps you must click on IMPORT WALLET.

Now you can enter your seed from your read.cash wallet

and import your wallet. After a while, when your wallet has synchronized, your read.cash funds and transactions will appear in your Bitcoin.com wallet.

In rare cases, it may happen that the synchronisation does not work or does not work properly. In this case you can scan for missing transactions. To do this click on three points.

Then on "wallet information"

Then on "Scan for missing transactions" And finally on "scan for transactions"

If you have imported your wallet, your BCH will not be transferred from read.cash to Bitcoin.com wallet, your BCH balance will be displayed in both wallets.

How is that possible? Your Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is actually not at read.cash and not in the bitcoin.com wallet. Your BCH is in the Bitcoin Cash blockchain on over a thousand computers (so-called nodes) that communicate with each other on the internet. Your seed allows you the access to your BCH. Your seed is stored in the bitcoin.com wallet and in your browser in the read.cash wallet. Your seed and the derivation path creates private keys in your wallet. When you make a transaction, your BCH is sent with the help of your seed (more precisely through your private key, which is created by the seed and the derivation path). Once you have written down your seed, you can always access your BCH, even if your smartphone stops working or you forget your read.cash password. How does Bitcoin Cash wallet work you can read here.

Please note: read.cash wallet uses only one private key (and one Bitcoin Cash address) whereas Bitcoin.com wallet uses several private keys (and several Bitcoin Cash addresses). If you send funds using the Bitcoin.com wallet, your read.cash account will show less or even 0. But that is no reason to worry. Your BCH is always yours because you own the seed. If you want the read.cash wallet and your bitcoin.com wallet to show the same balance, send all your funds from the bitcoin.com wallet to read.cash wallet.

Important: The Bitcoin.com app can manage SLP tokens. If you want to send and receive SLP tokens with Bitcoin.com app, create a separate wallet in the Bitcoin.com app and manage it there and not on the read.cash address. Otherwise your SLP tokens may get lost.

Open grazing : You’re mentally handicapped – Soyinka blasts Buhari

Nobel Laureate, Prof Wole Soyinka has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of suffering from “mental delusion.”

Soyinka was reacting to Buhari’s review of Open Grazing routes in some state of the country.

Berating Buhari for ordering a review of the grazing routes despite public outcry, Soyinka said the President may be suffering from noise deafening.

Addressing a press conference in Lagos, Soyinka said: “It’s like there’s some delusion about this thing, a kind of mental delusion about this thing. What is it?

“Perhaps the sound, the noise of the wedding bells (Yusuf Buhari) has contributed to the possible impairment of the hearing of the president of this nation. Because he does not seem to hear anything.”

He wondered why Buhari was obsessed “about something which is being rejected, right, left and centre.”

“Virtually the whole nation is screaming we do not want any open cattle grazing whether they go by the name cattle routes or grazing reserves.

“Even the all-powerful and untouchable Miyetti Allah, patrons of the murderous Fulani herdsmen, have gone on record that ranching is it,” Soyinka said.

Sit-at-home , IPOB not Imo govt, I decide what happens – Gov Uzodinma

The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has rubbished the sit-at-home order recently declared by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB,

in solidarity with its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is currently in the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS.

recalls that the secessionist group had earlier in the month ordered that sit-at-home would be observed every Monday in all parts of Southeast pending the freedom of Kanu.

But due to pressures from stakeholders, IPOB suspended the action, saying the sit-at-home would now be observed any day the Kanu would be appearing in court to continue his trial which bothers on treason felony.

Despite the suspension, observes that activities are yet to resume in the region on Mondays over fear of attacks by hoodlums.

However, Uzodinma who spoke during an interview with Channels TV on Thursday as monitored by our correspondent, said the order has not been observed in Imo State, stressing that only orders from his government can be observed.

Despite the unrest in some parts of the state, particularly Orlu, the governor claimed that Imo is “relatively peaceful”.

He said, “There is no any order outside the government of Imo State. Because there is a government and IPOB is not the government in Imo. I am still the governor of the State.

“Imo State government has not authorized any sit-at-home and like I said, in Imo State, everybody is going about their businesses every day, workers are going to work, and normal activities are going on.

“For now, Imo State is relatively calm. Before the end of last league, we even had a match between heartland and Adamawa football club in the night at our stadium and people who watched it all over the world will tell you the level of friendliness and calm environment in Imo State”.

BIAFRA : Catholic bishops take position on agitation for Nigeria’s break-up, insecurity

The Catholic Bishops of Nigeria, CBCN, has taken a stand on the rising insecurity, electronic transmission of results and call for Nigeria’s break-up.

The Catholic bishops, in a communiqué issued at the end of the Second Plenary Meeting of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria (CBCN),

Enugu, appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari’s government to adopt inclusion of all ethnic groups in decision making and policies of the nation in order to avoid a break-up.

The clergy admonished Nigerians and the government to toe the path of unity and dialogue in order to unite the nation and not cause break-up.

CBCN also demanded that the government ensures a just and fair trial of the arrested key players in the struggles to curb cases that trigger off further avoidable unrest and calls for break-up

Part of the communique read: “We urge both Government and citizens to work for a nation in which everyone and every part, irrespective of differences of tribe or religion or political affiliation, will have a sense of belonging. We reiterate that the struggle for the ‘soul’ of Nigeria, that is presently ongoing, will not be won by ethnic cleansing, nepotism, kidnapping and banditry but by love, fairness and equity, common good and patriotism.

“We, therefore, enjoin the government and all Nigerians to toe the path of justice and conciliatory dialogue and see themselves as agents of peace and development in order to ensure a harmonious and united nation.

“We are grateful to God that we still exist as one nation. This is in spite of sundry agitations and struggles for self-determination. We observe that the agitations and tensions are mainly as a result of bad governance, injustice, inequity, and unfairness in appointments and distribution of resources to parts of the country. We recognize the rights of peoples to self-determination; yet we emphasize that the exercise of such rights must be within the confines of the rule of law.

“We as a church are keenly interested in the political situation of our country. Although the Church does not support any political party, she supports every government that prioritizes the welfare of the citizens.”

The Church also condemned government policies that do not promote development and the common good.

They called for a fair and credible election in 2023 as it appealed to the National Assembly to rescind its decision against electronic transmission of results, stressing that that will create room for rigging of votes.

“We insist that there is an urgent need for a fair and credible electoral process, through which our political leaders emerge. We, therefore, state loud and clear that the recent voting by the National Assembly against electronic transmission of results of elections will create an opening for further manipulation of electoral votes and lay the foundation for more conflicts in future elections.

“We call on the National Assembly to reconsider its position in the light of world best practices,” the communique added.
