Sevilla manager, Julen Lopetegui, has said that Zinedine Zidane is the right manager to coach Real Madrid following their Champions League exit last Wednesday.  https://entertainmentmax47533523.wordpress.com/blog/

Zidane suffered huge criticism from fans after Chelsea eliminated Real Madrid from the Champions League, following Timo Werner and Mason Mount’s goals.

However, Lopetegui, who replaced Zidane as Real Madrid head coach in 2018, believes there is no room for critics to doubt the Frenchman’s ability.

“I don’t have much to say [about the criticisms of Zidane],” said Lopetegui in his pre-match press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s LaLiga clash with Sevilla on Sunday.

“Zidane’s work speaks for itself, there’s no room for doubting his ability.

“He’s the ideal coach for where he is.”

FOOTBALL: UCL.Zidane finally reacts to Hazard laughing after Chelsea eliminated Real Madrid

Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane, has reacted to forward Eden Hazard’s laughing following their Champions League semi-final second-leg 2-0 defeat against Chelsea last Wednesday.

Hazard struggled to make an impact against his former club and then angered those connected with Real Madrid after television cameras caught him laughing with Kurt Zouma just minutes after the full-time whistle at Stamford Bridge. https://entertainmentmax47533523.wordpress.com/blog/

Reacting, Zidane said that Hazard apologized to Real Madrid players for laughing and joking after their Champions League defeat to Chelsea, adding that it was not his intention to hurt anyone.

“Hazard knows what he has to do on the pitch, and he is going to do it, we spoke the other day after the game to say that he apologized for the reaction, with me, with the club, with the players,” Zidane said at his pre-match press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s LaLiga clash with Sevilla on Sunday.

“It’s over and we have to focus. In football, that is most important for us and the end of the season.

“He has apologized for the other day and has done well, it was not his intention to hurt anyone, and he said so.

“He is a Real Madrid player and he will compete for Real Madrid.

“All the players reach the heart of Real Madrid, it is true that at the moment, it has not been possible to see the Hazard that people want to see but I think he will take it forward.

“It is a complicated moment because of everything that has happened, but he has a contract and he wants to succeed here. I hope that soon he will show what he is as a player.”

FOOBALL: Man City vs Chelsea: Guardiola reacts to Aguero’s penalty miss at Etihad

Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has reacted to Sergio Aguero’s shocking penalty miss during Manchester City’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at the Etihad on Saturday.

Man City took the lead through Raheem Sterling in the first half and Aguero shockingly missed the opportunity to give the home side a 2-0 lead before the half time whistle. https://entertainmentmax47533523.wordpress.com/blog/

The Argentine attempted a Panenka penalty but the chipped effort lacked conviction and was comfortably saved by Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.

Chelsea came back very strong in the second, putting up an impressive display that gave them 2 goals from Hakim Ziyech and Marcos Alonso.

With the win, the Blues delayed Manchester City’s Premier League title celebrations and also gave the west London outfit a psychological advantage ahead of the Champions League final on May 29.

Asked about Aguero’s penalty, Guardiola said: “It’s his decision. The taker makes his decision. He decided to take it his way, I’ve nothing to add.”

Speaking on the 2-1 defeat, Guardiola added: “It was a tight game, but in general we played really good. We missed our chance in the last minute of the first half with the penalty.

“They are a top side and we were playing better. We were in a good position but in the end they scored.”

FOOTBALL: EPL.Timo Werner works like a dog – Thomas Tuchel

Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel, has said that his forward, Timo Werner works like a dog while praising the German his ‘relentless’ display in the Blues’ 2-1 victory over Manchester City on Saturday.

England international, Raheem Sterling gave Man City the lead in the first-half while Sergio Aguero squandered a golden opportunity to make 2-0 from spot kick before half time. https://entertainmentmax47533523.wordpress.com/blog/

Thomas Tuchel’s Blues returned stronger in the second half, equalised through Hakim Ziyech and Werner then provided Chelsea with the winning goal as his low cross was fired in by Marcos Alonso.

Asked if the Germany international needs to add patience to his game, Tuchel told Sky Sports, “Yeah, but it’s easier said than done because he was working like a dog.

“He was really, really working hard up front. It was so important, he gave them a hard time with all these runs. Once he had chances he had them pretty exhausted, so no complaints

“In the last week he’s really adapted well to the situations.”

FOOTBALL: EPL.Tuchel reveals how Aguero helped Chelsea beat Man City 2-1

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, has admitted that if Sergio Aguero’s penalty had made it 2-0 before half time, they wouldn’t have stood a chance of beating Manchester City on Saturday. https://entertainmentmax47533523.wordpress.com/blog/

The Blues came back from a goal down to beat Pep Guardiola’s men 2-1 at the Etihad.

Raheem Sterling gave the hosts the lead, before Aguero’s weak panenka was saved easily by Eduoard Mendy.

Tuchel’s men then scored through Hakim Ziyech and Marcos Alonso to grab all three points.

“What a performance in the second half. If they score the penalty maybe it’s over before it really starts and then you go to half time 2-0 with no chances to come back.

“I was impressed with the reaction in the second half and think we deserved to win in the second half.

“When you’re 1-0 down at the Etihad you need a bit of luck, some decisions, but it goes like this we had many half chances and chances. A big congratulations to the team for the second half.

“We had more control, confidence, the first goal helped us. We could play more physically and recover the balls higher. It was a physical battle and we increased our motivation,” Tuchel said.

The result lifts Chelsea into third in the Premier League table, six points ahead of fifth-placed West Ham in the race for the top-four. David Moyes’ Hammers have just four games to make up the five-point gap to Leicester in fourth.

FOOTBALL: EPL. Tuchel make claim about Champions League final after 2-1 win over Man City

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, has claimed their 2-1 win over Manchester City on Saturday, will give them an edge over their rivals, ahead of the Champions League final later this month.

The Blues came from behind to beat City on Saturday. https://entertainmentmax47533523.wordpress.com/blog/

Raheem Sterling gave the champions-elect the lead, before Hakim Ziyech and Marcos Alonso sealed victory for Tuchel’s men.

The two sides will meet again on May 29 in Istanbul, with Chelsea having won the last two encounters between the teams.

Speaking about the importance of today’s result, Tuchel told Sky Sports: “It gives us confidence because it’s all about the performance.

“This result won’t change much as the (Champions League) final is a very unique game, you can’t predict what will happen and we need to be prepared. We both will have chances.

“We arrive with the knowledge that we are capable of beating them, that’s what we have now and this won’t change much to Istanbul.”

FOOTBALL: Man City vs Chelsea. Thomas Tuchel gives verdict on Raheem Sterling’s foul on Werner

Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel, believes Raheem Sterling was fortunate to stay on the field after a late foul on Timo Werner during Chelsea’s 2-1 victory against Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday. https://entertainmentmax47533523.wordpress.com/blog/

Goals from Hakim Ziyech and Marcos Alonso gave Chelsea all three points against Man City as Sterling’s first-half goal was not enough to give Pep Guardiola’s side a point at Etihad.

Sterling made a late high foul on Werner, but after a VAR check, they stayed with referee Anthony Taylor’s initial decision of a yellow card.

When asked about his thoughts on Sterling demanding a penalty after being involved in a clash with Kurt Zouma in the second half during the encounter, Tuchel said at his post-match press conference, “I only saw it live and I was in fear that he will maybe give it, but I found our first one a 50-50 situation. If he gives it live because it’s his impression, okay, maybe it’s not worth overturning it from VAR. If he wouldn’t whistle it live in his first impression, I think it also wouldn’t be worth overruling from VAR, so it was a pretty tough one.

“Of course, we felt a bit like the momentum was completely against us because we were one man down actually from an injured player, had no time to do the change, and suddenly this whole game can slip through your fingers.”

The win over Man City means Chelsea are now in the third position on the Premier League table with 64 points from 35 games.
