The Blancos captain will be forced to spend the next 10 days in quarantine after contracting coronavirus as he also recovers from a calf injury

Real Madrid have confirmed that captain Sergio Ramos has tested positive for Covid-19.

The Blancos defender was not due to be involved in Madrid's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Liverpool on Wednesday night as he continues to recover from a calf injury.

Zinedine Zidane's side were still able to secure an impressive 3-1 victory in his absence and will be aiming to book their place in the last four.

The Liga giants have confirmed the news in an official statement , which reads: "Real Madrid CF announces that our player Sergio Ramos has given a positive result in the last Covid-19 test that has been carried out."

How many other games will Ramos sit out?

Ramos has missed Madrid's last three games through injury, with his last appearance for the club coming in the second leg of their last-16 Champions League meeting with Atalanta on March 16.

The 35-year-old will now have to self-isolate for 10 days in accordance with Covid-19 quarantine protocols, and won't be allowed to return to action until he posts a negative test after that period.

In addition to sitting out the encounter with Liverpool, Ramos will also be unavailable for selection for the Blancos' next two La Liga fixtures away at Getafe and Cadiz.

The World Cup winner could be in line to return when Zidane's side take on Real Betis at home on April 24, but only if he has made a full recovery from coronavirus and his calf problem.

How important has Ramos been to Madrid this season?

Ramos has endured a stop-start season at the Bernabeu in 2020-21 which has limited his overall contribution to Madrid's cause.

The Spain international has been absent for 27 matches across all competitions due to a variety of different injuries and ailments, with Nacho often stepping in at the heart of the defence.

Ramos has made just 20 appearances for Madrid in total this term, scoring four goals while also providing one assist.

The bigger picture

Ramos' latest fitness setback comes at a time when his future at Madrid is being questioned, with his current contract set to expire at the end of June.

The new draft legislation put forward by Sens. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and Michael F. Bennet (D-Colo.) seeks to address the financial hardships that many families experienced over the past year, as the coronavirus left a record number of people out of work and struggling to obtain aid amid the worst economic crisis in a generation.

Under the Democrats’ proposal, Americans could more quickly apply to their states for jobless assistance. Their checks may be much larger as well, allowing many low- and middle-income workers to receive up to 75 percent of the wages they earned when they had stable employment.

A federal vaccine committee will meet Wednesday to talk about the future of the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine after federal recommendations that its use be paused while blood clot issues are reviewed.

Federal health agencies Tuesday recommended the halt as they investigate six U.S. cases of a rare and severe type of blood clot among more than 7 million people who received the shot. One of the six women died in March, another is in critical condition and three others are still hospitalized.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration panels are expected to be presented with safety information from Johnson & Johnson and CDC experts before making a decision about continuing a pause on the vaccine or discontinuing its use for certain populations.

Across the globe, multiple countries had already restricted use of the Oxford-AstraZeneca shot after European regulators flagged the vaccine as having potential links to extremely rare but potentially fatal blood clots.

Now that U.S. federal authorities have recommended pausing the use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine because of similar clots, and while regulators investigate, governments in Australia, Europe and South Africa are also halting the shot’s rollout or scrapping plans to purchase more doses.

Am sharing my experience on free blogging ! my first blog with free blogging service.. (of course majority of people want to try the free service for first time). i’ve created a wonderful blog 3 to 4 days.. after 5th day my blog has blocked by the service provider (weebly). the reason they said you have used some extra html code which is not allowed for the free blogs, you have to upgrade the premium then only you can use as you wish to make your blog.

So, the lesson is never depend on the free blogs for commercial blog (to make money) we don't know when it will be blocked or banned, its ok if you create a own personal blog about you..

The next thing is the blogging career is rapidly growing as well as the shape of the blog is also changed. Many platforms, plugins are available to make your blog more attractive. if you see any professional bloggers they don't use free blog services, because they know its not really worth… having a own custom domain you can do whatever you want no restrictions and can develop your blog better way .

From my experience, I can say, sky is the limit when it comes to a blog.

I really believe that if can pack value in a blog, you can hit a homerun.

Here are my earning stats from a few days ago:

I have a WordPress blog and I started it 4 months ago. I have around 70–80 articles on the blog.

My focus strategy is to write about something which is in demand but the topic is a little on a side where it doesn’t have much competition.

I don’t work more than 2–3 hours a day on this but I put no less than 6–7 days on 1 article piece.

If you do the same, you’ll be able to generate money from it.

To put things in perspective, buying things have become a lot easier now:

bought these without giving much thought to it.

Starting a blog is very easy now, why wouldn't it be, when you can start 1 in under 10 minutes?

It’s pretty difficult to make money with a free blog site.

One of the reasons is the way blogs make money is by ads, or affiliate links.

In order for it to be profitable you must be able to drive qualified, relevant traffic.

Now when you do a free site such like you are asking, you have to depend on purely free traffic in order to get people to go on your site and click ads or buy stuff.

Most blogs that make money do so with either adsense and if that is the case you must drive a TON of traffic in order to make it worth anything. And even if you accomplish this the payout is very low. Not to mention that google is known to screw people over on their adsense money.

Now the best way to do this is through affiliate marketing in a particular niche and doing a combination of SEO (search engine optimization) which will get you some organic (free) traffic, and paid ads.

But unless you know what you are doing with paid ads its going to take a while to learn.

I've made some money, nothing that compensated me for the hours I put in and the expertise I had to acquire.

The Adwords/Adsense money generating machine is a cash cow. People are spending their last dollars for advertising that is very, very tricky to get a return on while millions of other shmucks (like me) are carrying the ads that allow Google to charge, never to make any real money.

Also AdSense revenue depends on you focusing on a hot niche that people have a reason to click through on, which means it can be a money maker today and not tomorrow,

Then there is the other drawback- here's an example:

I had a blogger website selling certain home theater/audio components, very expensive high end brands as an affiliate of some online retailers. The components were closeouts, and I focused on models that were marked down, discontinued and in stock in specific numbers.

I made money, and started appearing in Google search even above the national retailers for certain things.

Then Google locked me out of my blog and delisted it, with no real reason and no way to get it back.

I'm guessing the retailers weren't happy about my position in the search results. Other affiliate site owners can just visit your site and click to complain about you.

Out of business. And confirmation of the saying "if it seems too good to be true it probably is"
