It’s pretty difficult to make money with a free blog site.
One of the reasons is the way blogs make money is by ads, or affiliate links.
In order for it to be profitable you must be able to drive qualified, relevant traffic.
Now
when you do a free site such like you are asking, you have to depend on
purely free traffic in order to get people to go on your site and click
ads or buy stuff.
Most
blogs that make money do so with either adsense and if that is the case
you must drive a TON of traffic in order to make it worth anything. And
even if you accomplish this the payout is very low. Not to mention that
google is known to screw people over on their adsense money.
Now
the best way to do this is through affiliate marketing in a particular
niche and doing a combination of SEO (search engine optimization) which
will get you some organic (free) traffic, and paid ads.
But unless you know what you are doing with paid ads its going to take a while to learn.
If
you do have a very very small budget though I shot a video where I show
what you need to do in order to start a 6-figure blog. Keep in mind
most don’t actually make money because they give up to quickly. If you
want to check out the video here it is.
I've made some money, nothing that compensated me for the hours I put in and the expertise I had to acquire.
The
Adwords/Adsense money generating machine is a cash cow. People are
spending their last dollars for advertising that is very, very tricky to
get a return on while millions of other shmucks (like me) are carrying
the ads that allow Google to charge, never to make any real money.
Also
AdSense revenue depends on you focusing on a hot niche that people have
a reason to click through on, which means it can be a money maker today
and not tomorrow,
Then there is the other drawback- here's an example:
I
had a blogger website selling certain home theater/audio components,
very expensive high end brands as an affiliate of some online retailers.
The components were closeouts, and I focused on models that were marked
down, discontinued and in stock in specific numbers.
I made money, and started appearing in Google search even above the national retailers for certain things.
Then Google locked me out of my blog and delisted it, with no real reason and no way to get it back.
I'm
guessing the retailers weren't happy about my position in the search
results. Other affiliate site owners can just visit your site and click
to complain about you.
Out of business. And confirmation of the saying "if it seems too good to be true it probably is"

Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp has revealed that his side has made
‘special plans’ for dealing with Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. when both
sides clash again on Wednesday night in the Champions League
quarter-final second-leg at Anfield.
Real Madrid lead 3-1 lead going into battle at Anfield after Vinicius
scored a brace in Madrid last week, with Marco Asensio also netted for
the hosts.
The result makes it almost impossible for the Reds to think of
advancing to the semi-finals of the competition and they will be wary of
getting hit on the break by the pace of Vinicius.
But the German gaffer said his side will look to stop the supply into the in-form 20-year-old.
Asked if he was surprised by Vinicius performance in the first leg, Klopp said, “I was impressed, not surprised.
‘He’s obviously an outstanding talent. Everybody knew it before Real
Madrid signed him but since then he became obviously even better. And
that’s cool.
“Special plans? Yeah, that’s, unfortunately, the case.
“You saw one goal I think we could have defended. The other goal, as
I’ve said, was just a great, great long ball and then a great first
touch and great finish.
“So yeah, we will try to avoid [allowing] the passes in his direction
– which is a big task actually! But impressed yes, surprised not.”
Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, has named a 21-man squad to
tackle Liverpool in the Champions League quarter-final second-leg tie at
Anfield on Wednesday night.
Zidane announced the squad in a post on Real Madrid’s official website on Tuesday.
Zidane’s men had won Liverpool 3-1 in the first-leg in Spain last week.
Real Madrid head to the game after beating Barcelona 2-1 in the LaLiga El Clasico clash last weekend.
Below is Real Madrid’s squad against Liverpool:
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Altube.
Defenders: E. Militão, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola, F. Mendy and Chust.
Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro, Valverde, Isco, Marvin and Arribas.
Forwards: Benzema, Asensio, Vini Jr., Mariano and Rodrygo.
The kick-off time for Real Madrid vs Liverpool is 8 pm.
Amid Davido’s breakup with Chioma and an affair with Mya Yafai ,
there were reports online alleging that Peruzzi slept with Chioma.
However, Peruzzi in an interview with media personality, Chude
Jideonnwo, said it is crazy to cook up stories of him having sex with
the wife of a man who changed his life.
“Someone said I had sex with the wife of the man who helped me. Do you know how crazy that is? ”
According to the 31-year-old singer, the rumors have made him more careful about what goes on around him.
“Even if you hate me as a person, what did Davido do to you? Anyway,
right now, I am careful of every pin that drops near me,” Peruzzi added.
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru says his
predecessors are in a better position to provide details of arms funds
approved by the federal government.
During a meeting with the House of Representatives Adhoc Committee on
Arms and Ammunition Purchase, Attahiru was asked to explain the
contents of the Executive Summary on contracts executed by the Nigerian
Army.
The committee chaired by Hon. Olaide Akinremi is reviewing the
purchase, use, and control of arms, ammunition, and related hardware by
the military, paramilitary, and other law enforcement agencies.
The COAS told them he could not do so because he did not personally authorize or award any contract.
“The period for which you wanted this report, having been summarized
in the Executive Summary, explains whatever details you will require.”
Attahiru said the issues of procurement the legislature demanded answers for, “were done by specific individuals”.
He advised the lawmakers to invite them to clarify issues raised and to provide adequate answers.
On his inability to honour previous invitations, the Army chief said:
“I was either in the North East, South East or South-South trying to
ensure stability within Nigeria.”
