Man Utd in striker crisis ahead of Leicester City clash

“It’s down to him, he doesn’t want to come in and look off the pace. Hopefully he can be ready for Sunday but I’m not sure.”

Manchester United could play their FA Cup quarter-final against Leicester City without strikers Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani, according to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Rashford was replaced at halftime during the Europa League clash with AC Milan on Thursday after he felt a “little twinge”.

Martial and Cavani did not even make the travelling squad.

Martial is recovering from a knock to his hip, while Cavani’s participation would depend on his progress.

Solskjaer has said Rashford was “most unlikely” to recover for Sunday’s trip

“Edinson has worked really hard and joined in training sessions. Towards the end he needs to top it up to feel 100 per cent ready for the game and hasn’t really got there yet,” Solskjaer told reporters.

EU reports Nigeria to WTO

The European Union (EU) has reported Nigeria to the World Trade Organization (WTO).

The complaint concerns Nigeria’s policy on dairy.

WTO Director-General, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, disclosed this in Abuja on Tuesday, during her visit to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Okonjo-Iweala confirmed that WTO has received a letter from the EU complaining about Nigeria’s restrictions on milk and dairy products.

She said they will look into the complaint, but urged the Nigerian government to take advantage of the trade remedy initiative in place, to protect local industries.

In reaction, CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, explained that the process to bring milk and dairy producers has been on for six years, with the milk and dairy producers treating the matter with levity.

One of the producers, he said, has been in Nigeria for over 60 years and has not deemed it necessary to engage in backward integration but is rather comfortable importing products.

However, if you are someone living in Korea, you can check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install. As for the US, expect the devices to get the incremental One UI 3.1 anytime soon.
Samsung, which launched the 2021 editions of the Galaxy A5x and A7x smartphones yesterday, has started rolling out a new update for its predecessors. The Galaxy A51 5G and A71 5G are now getting the One UI 3.1(Android 11) update.
Do note that the Verizon version of these devices has already received the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 updates last month. However, it hadn’t launched in other regions. Today, the company is rolling out firmware updates with version A516NKSU3CUC4 for Galaxy A51 5G and A716SKSU3CUC4 for Galaxy A71 5G in Korea.

This end of Beta and rollout of stable has been confirmed on the Samsung community forums of Korea and is followed by screenshots of users confirming the arrival of One UI 3.1.

One UI 3.1 was introduced along with the Galaxy S21 and it brings a host of features like revamped UI, Private Share, GPS location data removal on Images, more Lock screen widgets, Background Video Calling, improved stock apps, and more.

That said, the Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A71 5G, unlike the US, have received the One UI 3.1 directly in Korea. Hence, you can expect the same for other regions as well. Politics : Alleged missing arms funds: Oduduwa group demands resignation, prosecution of NSA Monguno

Monguno made the claim in an interview with BBC Hausa, though he later said he was misquoted.

The Coalition of Oduduwa Descendants (COD) has called for the immediate resignation of the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno, for allegedly failing the Nigerian people.

The development followed the recent allegation by the NSA that some funds meant to buy arms under the leadership of ex-service chiefs were missing.

However, COD said Monguno’s claim was a clear attempt to soil the hard-earned reputation of the immediate past service chiefs and patriotic men who diligently served the nation.

Addressing newsmen on Thursday, Comrade Lawson Adeshina, the National Secretary, COD, demanded the resignation or sack of Monguno so he could be investigated.

According to Adeshina, “What we saw, however, was a Monguno, who was trying to soil the hard-earned reputation of men who diligently served the nation, the immediate past service chiefs.

“With the benefit of hindsight, we now believe that these men could have done even better than they did if Monguno didn’t abuse his office to deny Nigeria the opportunities to buy weapons.

“He made it impossible for the military and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to buy the equipment that was desperately needed to fight crime and secure Nigeria against terrorists.

“One can thus now categorically say that the problem of inadequate equipment to fight terrorism is responsible for the scenario where terrorists, bandits and kidnappers have become bold and are now holding Nigeria by the jugular; this was caused and aggravated by Monguno.

“This is the highest travesty possible: the man who should deploy his expertise for making Nigeria secure as National Security Adviser preferred to abuse his office to make the country ungovernable and into a veritable killing field.

“It’s unthinkable that an appointee of President Muhammadu Buhari, who promised Nigerians improved security, could’ve jeopardized the military and the police force of the country with such impunity. Monguno has simply demonstrated that he has no sense of loyalty to either the country or his Commander-in-Chief. This’s an untenable position.

“We additionally demand that Monguno, upon his sack, must be further investigated.”

Sport EPL : Dean Henderson ‘takes over’ as Man United’s No.1 goalkeeper from De Gea

“He’s been picked in the England squad, he should be number one for England as well. He was really calm tonight and did what he did, which was safe.”

Manchester United goalkeeper, Dean Henderson, has now “taken over” from David de Gea as the club’s first-choice shot-stopper.

This claim was made by Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes.

Scholes said this after Henderson kept a clean sheet in Man United’s 1-0 win against AC Milan in the Europa League round of 16 second-leg tie at San Siro on Thursday.

Henderson was impressive for the Red Devils against AC Milan as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men qualified for the last-8, thanks to Paul Pogba’s goal.

The 24-year-old, who was called into action a couple of times, made one vital stop from AC Milan substitute Zlatan Ibrahimovic late in the encounter.

When asked who is the club’s No. 1 keeper between Henderson and De Gea, Scholes told BT Sport: “I think it’s Henderson now. He’s taken over.

“I thought David had been lucky after the Everton game (in February) to keep his place. There were a couple of mistakes there. A few things before and after that – not glaring mistakes – but I feel more confident with Henderson in there. I’m a little more relaxed.

‘I’m not having a go at David. He’s been a brilliant goalkeeper and could still be if Dean doesn’t take his chance. But the time has come to give him (Henderson) a run in the team.
