Popular writer and social commentator, Reno Omokri has come out to say ladies should stop flaunting their baby bumps on social media. The ex-aide recently revealed that those who flaunt their baby bumps only attract negative human spirits to themselves and their babies.
According to him, not everybody should know a woman is pregnant, and not having a baby shower will kill no one.
He added that not everyone has thoughts of peace towards you, therefore it is always best to be careful.
His words, “People do not need to know you are pregnant. Not having a baby shower won’t kill you. Not parading your baby bump on social media deprived you of nothing. Learn from your baby. It is silent for 9 months and only cries when it is born! When you flaunt baby bumps, you attract Negative Human Spirits. Thoughts affect reality. Even God operates through the thought realm. ‘I know the thoughts I have towards you, thoughts of good, not evil’-Jer 29:11. Not everyone has ‘thoughts of peace’ towards you. Protect yourself. Announce your births, not your pregnancies!”
Arsenal midfielder, Bukayo Saka has come out to say that the club’s resilient attitude is the reason for the recent good results in the EPL. He recently revealed that Arsenal never lost faith in their ability, and this has made the club build some much-needed momentum.
According to him, the players never stopped believing that they are good enough to get wins, and this is why everyone is now playing with much more confidence.
He added that the victory is the perfect way to start the new year, so everyone is happy with the performance.
His words, “I feel like it’s our attitude. We never stopped believing we are good enough to get wins. I’m just happy we’re playing with much more confidence and it’s working,”
“The perfect way to start the new year, we’ve won three in a row so we want to keep building. We’re really happy with the performance.
“It was so cold but I was getting so many touches in good positions so I enjoyed the game a lot.”
On Tierney, “KT deserved that, he’s put in amazing performances all year and that was something we’ve never seen before from him, right foot, top corner.”
The Federal Government has published the passport numbers of 100 travellers, who failed to undergo the mandatory COVID-19 test after returning to Nigeria.
Their details were published by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 on Saturday.
“The PTF has placed travel restrictions on the first 100 passengers for non-compliance to the mandatory Day 7 post-arrival COVID-19 test,” the update read.
It said the restrictions started from January 1, 2021 and would last till June 30, 2021.
The PTF also confirmed that the affected passengers have been notified and will be prevented from out of the country during the period.
The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, who is also the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, had earlier in the week said the affected travellers would be published before the end of the week.
Nigeria has recorded over 85,000 COVID infections including more than 1,200 associated fatalities, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka of the Adoration Ministries, Enugu, has released his prophecies for the new year, especially about the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Mbaka warned Buhari to act fast and save his government from looming extinction.
The cleric spoke during the 2020 edition of his popular annual December 31 Crossover Night tagged, ‘Cornucopia of New Miracles from God”.
Mbaka said he got a divine ministration to warn the President Muhammadu Buhari government “to be very careful,” and change its policies to accommodate the youths without politicising their condition.
“That the government should rise and urgently create jobs and innovate opportunities that would benefit the youths of the nation because they have suffered so much.
“Don’t politicise the condition of the youths, otherwise, they will arise and end the political system,” Mbaka said.
“Should the government fail to do so as soon as possible that time is coming when the youths will rise against the government, and that any attempt to stop them will end the government!” He said.
Mbaka warned that the anger of God will soon fall on the government as there may be another protest from the youths.
He said: “I can see a year ahead; it is not specific whether it is in 2021 that this will happen, but it is within a time in the time of life, that the anger of God will befall many people in the political circle because, they have looted so much and disgraced this nation enough.”
Mbaka said that those who should be working to save the country have continued to loot it dry.
The cleric pointed out that politicians in the country had for long busied themselves in “packing the nation’s commonwealth.”
Recall that the outspoken Catholic priest had recently said that God was angry at the Buhari-led government for failing to address the numerous challenges facing the country.
The fiery prophet called on Buhari to apologise to Nigerians for leadership errors of the current government and that of past governments.
Also recall that Mbaka had foretold, in one of his church programmes, that Hope Uzodinma, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2019 election in Imo State, would be declared winner of the election by the Supreme Court.
Then the Supreme court on Tuesday 19th January 2020, declared Uzodinma as the duly elected governor of Imo State.
It, therefore, ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to withdraw the certificate of return from former Governor, Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and issue Uzodinma certificate of return as governor of the state.
Delivering the judgment, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun said the votes due to Uzodinma and APC from 318 polling units were wrongly excluded and should be added.
Prior to the general elections in 2015, the cleric had also predicted that the incumbent President, Goodluck Jonathan will lose to the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Muhammadu Buhari.
A former Tottenham Hotspur striker, Darren Bent, has urged Arsenal to sign Real Madrid star, Isco, straight away this January transfer window.
Bent believes Isco would raise Arsenal’s dressing room, quality, and the front players because of his creative nature.
Recall that Isco had drawn the interest of Arsenal in the past few days.
“I think bringing in a player like Isco with his quality I think would be a good signing [for Arsenal],” Bent told talk SPORT.
“Smith Rowe has been very good in the last couple of games, but he is only young.
“We know Smith Rowe’s stepped up, but we can’t all of a sudden depend on him for the rest of the season.
“He is young, he is only played a couple of games, but someone like Isco might raise the dressing room, the quality, the front players will quite enjoy playing with a player like him, his creative nature.
“We need that type of player, Ozil does not look like he is going to come back.
“I would’ve had him back in January but if you aren’t and you can get him out the door, then maybe do that and bring Isco in.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2021 New Year address as empty, directionless.
PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan said Buhari’s address was a confirmation that Nigeria has become “leaderless.”
Ologbondiyan lamented that it was appalling that on New Year Day, all Buhari could offer a troubled and frustrated nation was a “regurgitated script full of lame excuses and empty promises that address nothing.”
A statement by Ologbondiyan said: “As a President, Buhari has not demonstrated the capacity to play his own part, as he claimed, having failed to find a solution for the security and economic challenges that pervade our nation under his incompetent and lethargic watch.
“The myriads of lame excuses in Mr. President’s address again underlines our national misfortune of weak leadership that is unable to resolutely confront and vanquish bandits, terrorists, kidnappers and vandals who are now holding our nation hostage, ravaging our communities, kidnapping and beheading our compatriots without restrain.
“The least Nigerians expected from Mr. President, in the New Year, was a decisive will to tackle our security challenges by reviewing his parade and heeding the demands by Nigerians to rejig our nation’s security architecture.”
