  A political pundit residing in Zamfara State, Alhaji Ahmed Bakers has said that there  is no doubt that the Igbo’s are seriously marginalized in the country due to the civil war that occurred between 1966 and 1970. The political analyst explained that the agitation of the Igbos needs to be considered due to the fact that the country is now a united entity.   The Prince Richard Ozobu-led Ohanaeze Ndigbo Election Committee has released modalities for the exercise. As the tenure of the current Ohanaeze exco ends this January, there are controversies over the upcoming election, leading to the formation of parallel election committees. Addressing journalists in Enugu on Sunday, Ozobu said the local government election must hold before the national exercise. “Every attention has been on the seat of the President-General, which of course falls under the National Election. “But we must follow the Ohanaeze constitution to the letters.   The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to “probe allegations that ₦3,836,685,213. 13 of public funds meant for the Federal Ministry of Health and the National Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) are mismanaged and stolen.   The Federal Government has published the passport numbers of 100 travellers, who failed to undergo the mandatory COVID-19 test after returning to Nigeria. Their details were published by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 on Saturday. “The PTF has placed travel restrictions on the first 100 passengers for non-compliance to the mandatory Day 7 post-arrival COVID-19 test,” the update read. It said the restrictions started from January 1, 2021 and would last till June 30, 2021. The PTF also confirmed that the affected passengers have been notified and will be prevented from out of the country during the period. The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, who is also the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, had earlier in the week said the affected travellers would be published before the end of the week.
