NEWSEnd SARS: Dunamis Pastor, Paul Enenche leads walk in Abuja, prays for Nigeria

Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, on Monday, led a prayer walk for Nigeria.

Enenche, who is the Senior Pastor of Dunamis led the walk from the National Christian Ecumenical Centre, Central Area, Abuja by 8 am.

The Dunamis pastor alongside his wife, Becky led thousands of Christians and his followers to walk and pray around the Central Area of Abuja.

Addressing the crowd, Enenche said the End SARS protest was a reflection of the ills in the country.

He urged the government to find an immediate solution to the protest.

According to Enenche: “End SARS protest is a reaction to what is going on in Nigeria, particularly as regards to extrajudicial killings. For me, that is one aspect of monumental problems we have in our land. End SARS means end injustice, end oppression, end subjugation, end poverty, end hunger, end nepotism, bigotry; it means end every evil in the nation. We are doing that the same time because this time calls for aggressive spiritual intervention.

“I think that when people are pushed to the wall, they react, and that is what I think the youths are doing. It is not SARS issue but general wahala.

“I, therefore, call on the relevant authorities to find an immediate solution. Open your ears to what is happening and take action to arrest the situation immediately. It is not the time to play the ostrich. It is not the time to bully anybody. It is time to admit that something is wrong and something must be done and it must be done urgently.”

Youths have been protesting against police brutality and leadership failure in the country.

With Nnamdi Kanu, No Hope For Biafrans –Asari Dokubo

Founder of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, has again attacked leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu

According to Vanguard, Dokunbo claimed Kanu has derailed the Biafran struggle.

The agitatir, who said he’s a Biafran and believes in its struggle, maintained that the IPOB leader was not in any struggle for the restoration of Biafra.

Dokunbo said, “It gives me regret that in my life I ever associated with a person called Nnamdi Kanu. That when he was in crisis, I came out to defend him. In fact, my greatest regret is associating with Nnamdi Kanu. I can’t make peace with somebody like him. It’s a foreclosed issue because he has nothing to offer other than to derail our struggle.

“With Nnamdi Kanu, there’s no hope for Biafra. Those of us who get close to him know he’s not fighting for any Biafra. Nnamdi Kanu is just one individual in Biafra, so, we shouldn’t make him important, he’s not. He’s just like everyone one of us.

“He’s not in any struggle. Whatever spell he has cast on the Igbo will be removed very soon and their eyes will open. When he was in trouble, all of us came out to defend him because an injury to one is an injury to all. We risked our lives by speaking in support of him, for him to be released from prison and for him not to be killed.

“Now, he sees those of us who fought on his behalf for his freedom as his followers. Some of us regret ever lending our voice. We would have left him to rot in jail because he’s caused more harm to Biafra struggle than anyone else.”

When asked how Kanu has caused more harm than good to the Biafra struggle, the former President of the Ijaw Youth Council said, “Listen to him! Don’t you listen to his broadcast? His insults to every Igbo person that disagrees with him? He has also extended his insults to other tribes including the Ijaw people.

“How can you bring unity to the people by abusing and attacking their leaders? Is Biafra struggle an Igbo struggle? He’s making it an Igbo struggle. The Biafra Nnamdi Kanu is pursuing will be worse than Southern Sudan if he wants to promote Igbo hegemony over and above Ijaw hegemony, Ibibio hegemony, and so on.”

IPOB: Agitation for Biafra not worth dying for – Uma Ukpai

A renowned preacher and president, Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai has said no agitation either from the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB or from any other bloc in Nigeria is worth the life of any person.

He urged all agitators to go about their way responsibly so that no life would be lost in the process.

He also dismissed the media publications which erroneously portrayed him as either anti-Biafra or anti-Nigeria, saying that he belongs to both.

Rev. Ukpai made the assertion on Thursday in Uyo when newsmen asked his position about Biafran agitations and other social unrest bedeviling the country.

The cleric who called for peace recalled that agitation for the realization of Biafra started before the civil war, therefore, no more lives should again be lost in going about it, adding that it would be ‘madness’ for people to kill and be killed in this movement.

He, however, said the approach for the emergence of Biafra and the approach by the federal government to kick against the agitation were both wrong since each side was claiming right.

His words, “Rev. Ukpai is a Nigerian; he is also a Biafran. He is one man in three places. I said that the Biafran boys agitating are Nigerians. But when you think of harming your brother, then it is crazy. Every Biafran as at today is a Nigerian until they are handed the flag of their independence. Every man who calls himself a Biafran today is a Nigerian.

“We should agitate for whatever we want without killing anybody. I had said that before and I’m saying it again that Nigerians love each other; it is only the leaders that are spoiling for war. So don’t destroy a life you cannot replace because of agitation.”

Nnamdi Kanu vows to launch Radio Biafra in Buhari’s hometown within six weeks

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Thursday, vowed to launch Radio Biafra in President Muhammadu Buhari’s hometown in Daura, Katsina State.

The secessionist group’s leader insisted that its Radio station would be established in the president’s community within the next six weeks.

The IPOB leader, who spoke through the group’s spokesman, Emma Powerful, was reacting to a report that the Nigerian government had approved N654m to monitor and crash Radio Biafra’s frequencies in the Southeast.

He stressed that the launch was to prove that IPOB was indefatigable.

According to the IPOB leader, the wife of the president, Aisha would soon start listening to Radio Biafra in Daura, Katsina State.

A statement by Powerful said: “The attention of the global movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our great Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been drawn to the approval of N654m by the Federal Government of Nigeria to monitor and crash Radio Biafra frequencies in the country particularly in South-East and South-South geopolitical zones. This wicked but futile decision was taken during their Federal Executive Council meeting held Wednesday, 7th of October 2020.

“In fact to prove to them how formidable we are, within six weeks from now, IPOB will launch Radio Biafra in Daura, the home town of Buhari who presided over the FEC that took this foolish decision.

“Any time Aisha visits Daura she will receive Radio Biafra frequency and listen to the gospel of freedom by our Leader, Nnamdi Kanu.”
