BIAFRA : You’ve killed Nigeria’s economy, allowed Ganduje, others destroy constitution – HURIWA attacks Buhari

A prominent civil Rights advocacy group, Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, has accused the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration of serial defecation and disrespect of the constitution of Nigeria. According to the organisation, the government under Buhari’s watch was willfully demolishing the national economy of the country. HURIWA, therefore, advocated emergency actions by citizens to compel the Nigerian government to halt the systematic destruction of the Country. The rights group also decried the existence of the National Assembly’s leadership that is allegedly pliant, inept, cash-driven, unpatriotic and hedonistic, asking Nigerians to play their civic oversight role of demanding accountability and transparency in governance or use civil resistance strategy to protest the rot. In a statement signed by Emmanuel Onwubiko, its National Coordinator and made available to DAILY POST on Wednesday, HURIWA said, “The damage unleashed on ...

Plan by Boko Haram, herdsmen to attack IPOB, MASSOB will cause war – Ohanaeze warns

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, OYC, has raised the alarm over a planned attack on pro-Biafra groups, the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, by Fulani herdsmen. Before being taken away by heavy Security Personnel of DSS, Police and Military, Emir Sanusi was put under house arrest with the Palace sealed off by the armed security operatives. Nnamdi Kanu mocks Obasanjo, Danjuma, Gowon for demanding restructuring from Buhari

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has mocked former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, former President Olusegun Obasanjo and a ex-military commander, General Theophilus Danjuma, over their separate calls for restructuring of the country. General Yakubu Gowon (retd), had at a public event organised by Igbo Leadership Development Foundation on Thursday, admitted that the Igbo nation had been marginalised in Nigeria’s polity. He said, “I believe that a lot of injustice has been done to the Igbos and a constitutional debate on restructuring must address all imbalances and restore hope and confidence. Also, Obasanjo had condemned the current state of affairs in the country in his speech on Saturday at the Frederick Fasehun 1st Memorial Lecture. The ex-Military leader said, “We estimated that Federal Government would suppress the Biafran rebellion within three months. To make allowances for the unforeseen, we allowed six months...

BIAFRA : The Future Of The Defunct Federation Of Nigeria -By J. Ezike

Lately, some notable politicians have showed support for the restructuring of Unitary Nigeria. Even wartime generals have suddenly turned “civil” in their language and appear somewhat willing to cast their blessings on the inevitable. I mean, we  never  had seen a time when the Nigerian military class of 1966-1999 would entertain any dialogue that would prove to be potent enough to indict the Union of Attrition or its fraudulent constitution forcefully handed over to “ we the people .” Some would say that the watchmen slumbered for too long or perhaps sat with their eyes wide open and in conspiratorial silence as they bore witness to the gradual collapse of the House of Lugard. And that their patriotism which they proclaimed and continue to proclaim in their khaki uniforms and military boots, in their Agbada and Suit and with their guns and ammunitions did not only bleed the Union but also the human beings entrapped in it. But these watchmen know one thing whic...
