BIAFRA : Buhari may not survive 2020 – Prophet Chukwuma releases shocking prophecies

The Presiding Pastor of Christ Foundation Miracle International Chapel, Lagos, Prophet Josiah Onuoha Chukwuma has revealed what God told him about President Muhammadu Buhari and Nigeria, with regards to the year 2020.
Chukwuma disclosed that God showed him that Buhari will be removed from office either through impeachment or sickness before the end of 2020.
Chukwuma, who spoke to Vanguard, also disclosed that God told him he would expose fake pastors in Nigeria this year as well as ritualists parading themselves as politicians.
He said: “I saw danger, chaos!, Buhari should be careful. If Mr President survives what awaits him, as God showed me, from now till November ending, then he will serve out his term. But as it stands now, Buhari would be removed either by impeachment or sickness this 2020. This is the much that I would disclose.
“The President must be very careful from now till November, to avoid crashing out! If by any chance he survives the red flags ahead of him in the spiritual realm from January to November ending, then he will complete his second tenure.
“God hinted that he will expose many fraudulent, fake pastors, especially ritualists parading themselves as men of God. The same fate awaits occult politicians, except if they repent, as God warned that the power of the kingdoms that they have rested their fate in will disappoint many of them. Many politicians will lose what they have in 2020. Let them return to God and be saved.
“There would be more difficulty in 2020. Let Nigerians pray for God’s mercy, that God may help the country and her citizens. Except by God’s mercy, there is danger ahead and things would get worse for the country.
“Politicians beware! Many politicians, who feel that they have amassed enough wealth would become hungry. Many politicians will go to prison and baring any divine intervention we already have the list of those that may likely join former Abia State governor at the correctional centre, and they will end up losing virtually all that they have.
“I saw the (All Progressive Congress) APC riddled with immense explosive crisis. I saw the party going into shambles as a result of uncontrollable squabbles that would make some party chieftains to start exposing their dirty secret deals in APC, to the public.
“I see Nigeria being attacked, if care is not taken! I saw a severe outbreak of dire internal crisis which some alien fighters capitalised on to attack the country. The external fighters came through one of the opposing groups.
“The way out is that Nigerians should turn to God. God is angry with Nigerian leaders because countless innocent lives being wasted on a daily basis are crying for vengeance. Let our leaders do the right thing. Over 80 per cent of various calibers of Nigerian leaders are evil, diabolic and they operate under evil influence
“I saw more religious crisis and more Christian killings in the country. Christians should be fervent in prayer. I saw killer Muslims rising against Christians; I saw increased attacks on Christians in parts of the country. I saw some elements attempting to Islamize.”

BIAFRA : Southern Kaduna El-Rufai hates Christians, only ‘Biafra’ can save them – Nnamdi Kanu

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has alleged that the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai hates Christians in the state.
Kanu alleged that El-Rufai’s hatred was responsible for the dichotomy between Christians and Muslims, especially in Southern Kaduna.
In his live broadcast yesterday, the IPOB leader stated that contrary to what Christians in Southern Kaduna were told, only “Biafrans” can save them from the hatred of El-Rufai.
According to Kanu: “The mistake the Southern Kadunas are making is that they think Biafrans hate them, but only Biafrans can save them.
“No amount of peaceful resolution of intervention can save them because their Governor hates them and has confirmed that the state is divided between Muslims and Christian.
“The dichotomy that exists in Kaduna State between Muslims and Christians has never existed in any part of the country, El Rufai said his state is divided between Muslims and Christians and if it wax IPOB that said it, they will say we are stoking crisis.”

BIAFRA : Nnamdi Kanu Breaks Silence, Says British Govt 'Worst Enemy' of Nigeria

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Thursday berated those asking IPOB to go through "appropriate channel" to secure Biafra, accusing them of being hypocrites.
Mazi KANU also alleged that the twelve Northern States allegedly practicing Sharia Law have systematically and unlawfully removed themselves from Nigeria and its Constitution without the Nigerian government questioning their action, adding that Biafra agitation for self determination should equally not be questioned by Nigerian government and its people.
The IPOB leader in the last edition of the 2019 Radio Biafra broadcast and New Year Message alleged that British government is the greatest enemy of Nigeria as a country and Nigerian people, accusing them of supporting all manner of evils in favour of the people he described as "Almajiri Fulani" they allegedly easily manipulates.
The IPOB leaders also alleged that all the actions and projects of the All Progress Congress, APC, government in Nigeria are geared towards promotion of Islam, making all the Nigeria States embrace Sharia law and empowering the Fulani ethnic group in Nigeria with strong and committed British government support.
According to Mazi Kanu, "When the Jihadist in Abuja wanted Sharia law they did not go to the National Assembly or call for referendum to bote to get it, rather the twelve Sharia States went outside the Constitution of Nigeria and agreed and introduced Sharia Law, but today they are asking us why we are agitating for Biafra and telling us to go through the appropriate channel when they did not go through appropriate channel to get Sharia they are practicing today."
"Who in Nigeria today voted for Sharia Law to be practiced in Nigerian Northern states today, is Sharia in Nigerian Constitution, they willingly subverted the Constitution of Nigeria and imposed Sharia on the Northern Nigerians.
"If they believe in the Constitution of Nigeria, they would not have introduced Sharia Law within Nigeria where the Constitution exist, so when they tell us not to agitate for Biafra, what is their moral right and justification for telling us that, Biafrans should ask them how they got Sharia being practiced in Nigeria Northern States anytime they kicks against Biafra agitation.
"We should ask they which channel did they use to introduce and get Sharia Law being practiced in the twelve Northern States. You cannot tell us that one law operate for people in the North while another operate for the people in the South under one country that you said operate a Constitution."
Kanu who accused the British government as the worst enemy of Nigeria as a country and its people said, British government and some off its nationals see evil in Nigeria happening, see Satan and Lucifer in Aso Rock and keep quiet because it is in the interest of their neocolonialism act of empowering the almajiris they manipulates.
"The greatest enemy of Nigeria is British government and some if its nationals, they are the ones perpetrating, support and financing terrorism with the people occupying Aso Rock and deceiving Nigerians that they mean well for them."
The IPOB leaders also regretted the treatment being meted against the people of Southern Kaduna, who are mostly Christians, by the Nasir El Rufai government, and blamed them their woe for wrongly believing that theh are hated by the Biafrans who he said are rather their saviours.
"The mistake the Southern Kadunas are making is that they think Biafrans hate them, but only Biafrans can save them,.no amount of peaceful resolution of intervention can save them because their Governor hate them and has confirmed that the state is divided between Muslims and Christian.
"The dichotomy that exist in Kaduna State between Muslims and Christians has never existed in any part of the country, El Rufai said his state is divided between Muslims and Christians and if it wax IPOB that said it, they will say we are stoking crisis."

BIAFRA : 2023 Buhari’s minister, Onu, reveals his plans for South East

Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, says President Muhammadu Buhari is committed to the infrastructure development of the South-East.
Onu spoke at the South-East zonal caucus meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) which harped on members’ unity ahead of the 2023 general elections.
He said that the insinuations that Mr President hated the South-East was unfounded and lacked substance.
Onu said: “Parts of the Enugu-Onitsha and Enugu-Portharcourt highways, despite being major express roads were converted to farm lands because they were abandoned and left in total disrepair.
“Today, the Buhari-led government has reconstructed the roads and other major roads in the South-East and if you go there now, there is no portion of the roads used as farm land.
“You can now drive from Onitsha to Enugu; you can drive from Enugu to Port Harcourt freely.
“Though the roads are not yet tastefully completed but work is going on at a very fast speed that everybody can see that there is a determination to get the roads completed.
“Work at the second Niger bridge is moving at a very fast speed and the President has made a commitment to get it completed by 2022.
“Zik’s Musoleum at Onitsha was completed within three years after 16 years that work started on the Musoleum.
“Also, Buhari named the Federal University, Ndufu Alike Ikwo after the late Dr Alex Ekwueme, a great Igbo son and former civilian vice president of Nigeria as a recognition of how he loves the South-East.
“Mr President has again assured that the Akanu Ibiam International Airport currently under rehabilitation will be completed by Easter this year,” Onu said.
He appealed to members of the party to remain united and focused, while urging the South-East zone to rally behind Buhari.

BIAFRA : Nnamdi Kanu ‘exposes’ Nigeria’s worst enemies, those sponsoring terrorism

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has alleged that the British Government was the worst enemy of Nigeria and not those agitating for Biafra.
Kanu alleged that the British government and some people in Aso Rock were supporting terrorism in Nigeria.
In his live broadcast on Thursday, the IPOB leader claimed that the British sees “evil in Nigeria happening, see Satan and Lucifer in Aso Rock and keep quiet because it is in the interest of their neocolonialism act of empowering the almajiris they manipulates.”

He alleged that all the actions and projects of the All Progress Congress, APC, government in Nigeria are geared towards promotion of Islam.
Kanu alleged that APC projects are designed to make all the Nigeria States embrace Sharia law and empower the Fulani ethnic group.
He said, “When the Jihadist in Abuja wanted Sharia law they did not go to the National Assembly or call for referendum to bote to get it, rather the twelve Sharia States went outside the Constitution of Nigeria and agreed and introduced Sharia Law, but today they are asking us why we are agitating for Biafra and telling us to go through the appropriate channel when they did not go through appropriate channel to get Sharia they are practicing today.

BIAFRA : ANALYSIS How pro-Biafra disinformation machine churns out fiction as facts

The deliberate and sustained seeding of incorrect information on social media would have many thinking a new state is imminent in Nigeria. Not too fast.
Nearly 50 years after the civil war ended in Nigeria, the struggle to keep the dream of a separate Biafra state alive continues, including through a relentless disinformation campaign on social media.
Several online reports have depicted the independence of the south-eastern region of Nigeria as receiving the support of many world leaders, with its declaration as a sovereign state only a matter of time.
Even Pope Francis has said that Biafra was the “will of God”, urging the United Nations to do something, if these reports are to be believed. In turn, the UN is set to declare ‘Biafraland’ an independent nation in 2020 should President Muhammadu Buhari resist its impending secession.
So inevitable is the push that the World Bank is preparing Biafra’s national currency and laying the ground for a central bank, we are told. A national airline is also on the cards, not to mention an oil refinery with US$200 billion in funding from US President Donald Trump.
This pro-Biafran content on social media is usually received with cheers by supporters of an independent state. But  – the headlines are fiction dressed up as facts.

Telltale signs of false news

In 2019 Africa Check spent a great deal of time fact-checking several of these false reports. Many had telltale signs of disinformation: they were poorly written, almost never attributed sources, and often contained mislabelled or manipulated photos and videos.
Organisations supposedly sympathetic to the Biafran cause, like the World Bank, refuted any associations when we contacted them, as did several experts we spoke to in the course of our work.
There are distribution penalties on some social media platforms. For example, if we debunked these claims on Facebook through our partnership with the company, any “false” rating drastically reduced the number of people who saw the posts. (For more on how this partnership works, see here.)
But the pro-Biafra disinformation machinery, like their decades-long campaign anchored in resource redistribution, is nothing if not resilient. We’ve seen far more dodgy content than we’ve been able to fact-check.

Pro-Biafran organisations using propaganda tools

One of the organisations leading the renewed agitation for Biafran independence is the Indigenous People of Biafra. Its founder, Nnamdi Kanu, first revived Radio Biafra in 2009, using it to further the organisation’s pro-independence cause with broadcasts from London.

Researchers have found that the pirate radio station also supplies disinformation, similar to the online content we’ve rated. They recommended that this “potent tool” be used “to promote history and cultural integration” in Nigeria rather than being an “instrument of secession and disintegration”.
Prof Lai Oso, who teaches mass communication at Lagos State University’s School of Communication, likened Biafra’s online disinformation campaign to propaganda
Oso is also the president of the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria.
“In this era when fact-checking is becoming common and advancements in technology have made it easier for people to find facts, propaganda or disinformation is not a good communication strategy,” he told Africa Check.
A professor of mass communication at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Emmanuel Udeze, told Africa Check that the false claims about Biafra seem to be taking advantage of the limitations of social media when it comes to gatekeeping
“This is the other side of citizen journalism. Because everyone can now do reports and disseminate information, you can’t prevent the publishing of false information online.”
“And because of people’s varying levels of understanding, quite a number of people can be fooled to believe false information at first,” Udeze said. He felt that this approach was likely to backfire.
Udeze, whose research interests include the image of nations in international media, said that at its origin propaganda was used for good by the Catholic Church.
But during the two world wars in the 20th century misinformation and disinformation became part of propaganda, according to Udeze. In his view, it is not a durable strategy. “Negative propaganda can sway people but not for long.”

Misinformation persists about Biafran history

Biafra has a history of employing propaganda to push its separatism agenda, the resident historian at the Centre for MemoriesProf Rina Okonkwo, told Africa Check.
The centre is located in Enugu, a city which served as the provisional capital of Biafra, and its mission is to be “a repository of the history and culture” of Igbo people, the predominant tribe of the secessionist republic.
Okonkwo said she has researched the civil war in preparation for the centre’s exhibition in January 2020 to mark the 50th anniversary of Biafra’s military collapse.
“I believe there was a lot of misinformation then by the Biafran government. They made everybody believe they were winning the war when they were not,” she said.
Okonkwo, who also teaches history at Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, said this approach helped make the war go on for longer.
“I’ve also found evidence of misinformation around the blaming of saboteurs for all the failings of the Biafran leadership,” she added.
Many studies have looked at the Biafran propaganda during the war as well the role the old version of Radio Biafra played in it.
Will there be more studies in the future looking at the impact of social media on the ongoing Biafra agitation? We wouldn’t rule it out.

For democracy to function, public figures need to be held to account for what they say. The claims they make need to be checked, openly and impartially. Africa Check is an independent, non-partisan organisation which assesses claims made in the public arena using journalistic skills and evidence drawn from the latest online tools, readers, public sources and experts, sorting fact from fiction and publishing the results.
