IPOB : Chimamanda Adichie says Nigeria unfair to Igbo

  Nigeria’s world famous author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie said the Igbo have been treated unfairly by the rest of Nigeria, especially after the war, 49 years ago and therefore recommended the setting up of a truth and reconciliation committee.    Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie: calls for a truth committee to discuss Biafra and other Nigerian issues    Nigeria set up a body akin to the truth commission in 1999, headed by Justice Chukwudifu Oputa. Biafra sit-at-home: IPOB speaks on attacking Catholic priest in Anambra

IPOB’s reaction was contained in a statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful. IPOB members allegedly attack Catholic priest for disobeying sit-at-home order

IPOB : Police arrest 140 IPOB members

The Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah, has said that since the return of democracy in 1999, Nigeria has had leaders who became Presidents of the country against their wish. Nnamdi Kanu Reacts To Asari Dokubo’s Murder Allegation
