According to Kukah, no country of the world will accept the level of injustice and corruption that takes place in Nigeria.  The Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah, has said that since the return of democracy in 1999, Nigeria has had leaders who became Presidents of the country against their wish.  He explained that former Presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo, Musa Yar’Adua, Goodluck Jonathan, and even the current President Muhammadu Buhari, were never prepared to lead Nigeria. The cleric said that this was why poverty had remained pervasive in the nation.
Kukah said that most people in the country are wearing garments of poverty, which has eaten deep into the country. Yar’Adua, Jonathan, Obasanjo ,Buhari became presidents against their wish – Bishop Kukah
He said this yesterday in Jos, Plateau State during the 1st Joint District Conference and 10th Anniversary Celebration of Rotary International, organised by District 9125 Rotary International with a theme: “A decade of consolidation: The Journey so far.”   Kukah spoke on the topic: “Inspirational Leadership and Humanitarian Service”, where he pointed out that Nigeria needs a president who is well prepared to serve the nation. Yar’Adua    Jonathan    Obasanjo    buhari
According to Kukah, “Since the return of Democracy, Nigeria has not gotten a president who is prepared to serve this nation.
“President Olusegun Obasanjo was picked from the prison and became a president. “President Umar Musa Yar’Adua was preparing to return to the university for lecturing but he was picked and became president.
“Goodluck Jonathan was a vice president and became president through a doctrine of necessity after the death of Yar’Adua.
“He contested and won and when he wanted to leave, he was asked to re-contest for the second tenure but lost to President Muhammadu Buhari who had vowed never to contest president again after contesting three times and losing.   “Buhari won his second tenure and he was begged against his wish to re-contest for second tenure and he won, so we have no president that has contested election based on his conviction.”
The cleric warned that the time will come when voluntary organisations will withdraw from building hospitals, schools and other social amenities and allow government to face the anger of the people.

3. Igbos In Canada Lambasts Gov. Umahi For Naming State Institute After Buratai

The Igbo Canadian Community Association (ICCA/Umunna), has condemned the naming of the newly-established Institute for Peace and Strategic Studies of the Ebonyi State University after the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen Tukur Buratai.
BIAFRA News reports that ICCA describes the approval given by the Ebonyi State Government to name the newly established institute after Buratai as “a disgraceful and ill-advised decision that spits on the graves of Nigerians who have been killed by the army under Buratai”.
Recall that Col. Sagir Musa, the Army spokesman, had in a statement, quoted the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Chigozie Egbu, as saying the university was naming its newly-established Institute for Peace and Strategic Studies after the Chief of Army Staff, for his selfless service to the nation and humanity.
According to Musa, the Vice Chancellor states this when he led a team from the university on a courtesy visit to Buratai in Abuja recently.
The VC, during the visit, disclosed that the state governor and the State Executive Council had approved that the institute be named “Lt.-Gen. Tukur Yusufu Buratai Institute for Peace and Strategic Studies”.
However, the President of the socio-cultural and political group, Chief Ugochukwu Okoro, insists that the Army failed in its duties under Buratai.
A statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the group, Ahaoma Kanu, reads: “It is incomprehensible and unconscionable that a serving governor will take the very inhumane decision to name a building after a man whose hands are dripping with the blood of innocent Nigerians killed in broad daylight by Nigeria Army soldiers under the command of a despicable officer like Buratai who not only has blood on his hands but pungently oozes of corruption and has failed in his duties as the Chief of Army Staff as his tenure can only be described as a total failure.
“Governor Dave Umahi has shown, by his decision to solely select Buratai, his short-sightedness in selecting honourable Nigerians dead or alive that would have been more befitting to wear the honour of selfless service to humanity more appropriately.”

IPOB ; Nnamdi Kanu Reacts To Asari Dokubo’s Murder Allegation

Image result for IPOB ; Nnamdi Kanu Reacts To Asari Dokubo’s Murder Allegation
This online news medium had reported that Prophet Nwoko was murdered in his Enugu State home recently with the former militant leader Asari Dokubo accusing Kanu of being behind the incident. However, in a statement on Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu described the allegation as unfortunate.
“Of recent,” Kanu said, “our dear compatriot Alhaji Asari Dokunbo whom we know had made his own contributions to the restoration of the sovereignty of the Biafran people had raised issues worth addressing and in order to avoid an unnecessary distraction and to keep the struggle focused on the goals we set out to accomplish, I thought it wise to address the issues raised.”  ccording to him, “the issues raised by our dear compatriot are:
1) I ordered the murder of a cleric.    Nnamdi Kanu Reacts To Asari Dokubo’s Murder Allegation
2) I collected money from Atiku.
3) Master – Slave relationship between diverse Biafran ethnic groups.
4) That I am a scam & fraud in the Biafran struggle.
I will take my time to address each point one after the other and later, indulge our dear comrade to reveal to fellow Biafrans what he thinks should be done differently in order to achieve Biafra’s restoration.
1) I never ordered the killing of any cleric and if anyone thinks I did, he or she should provide evidence that, I wasted Biafran resources to kill a fellow Biafran whose death can not help IPOB to restore Biafra.
2) I never collected money from Atiku and if anyone is in doubt, let him or her approach Atiku for answers. Both PDP and APC agents approached me and told me to give up the struggle for Biafra and I told them that, IPOB will only do so if the following things will be fulfilled:
a) Full Resource Control and not mere 13% derivation.
b) Opening of at least 2 deep seaports in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta States starting with the construction of Ibaka, Ibeno and Bakassi deep seaports.
c) The establishment of international airports and inland ports in all states of the defunct Eastern and Mid West regions in order to emancipate Biafra land from economic strangulation.
d) Full implementation of PIB (Petroleum Industry Bill).
e) Full autonomy to all Biafran states in the areas of security, taxes, royalties, legislations etc
f) Lots more.
This  is as he noted that “We lifted the boycott of election because, both parties agreed to our terms & conditions.
“If we are wrong to give the Nigerian elites the opportunity to fail themselves, let the Biafrans voice out.”
He dared Asari Dokunbo to provide evidence if “you said I am a scam and fraud. I will be grateful if you can provide evidence of me diverting the contributions of fellow Biafrans for my personal use.”
