IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu calls off election boycott, gives reason

Kanu had urged Igbos not to participate in the polls until certain conditions were met. Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has called off boycott of the 2019 general election. A statement he signed on Thursday said: “Members of the public are also advised to disregard the call to stay at home on the day of the election being circulated in some parts of the country.
“The stay-at-home leaflets being circulated and similar on-line messages are part of the handiwork of mischief makers who are bent on scuttling the process and should be ignored.  “I want to assure the general public that the security services are prepared to support the Police to ensure safe conduct of the elections.” He said: “Having confirmed this evening that all our preconditions and terms have been met, signed, sealed and delivered; I hereby call-off the election boycott across Biafraland on Feb. 16, 2019.
“I dedicate this historic victory to the formidable
#IPOB family worldwide.”
Meanwhile, General Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin, Chief of Defence Staff, has warned that no form of intimidation or harassment would be tolerated on election days.

NIGERIA 2019 elections: Biafra groups back IPOB on boycott

Image result for 2019 elections: Biafra groups back IPOB on boycott
The pro-Biafra groups said precedents showed that whether or not they voted, the administration that would emerge after the election would still not favour their course.    They spoke in a statement issued on Sunday, signed by Yahgozie Immanuel, Office of Communications, BGIE and Evangelist Godspet Ijeoma Uhagiro, Head of Information Directorate, BSG.  Two groups, the Biafra Government in Exile (BGIE) and the Biafra Shadow Government (BSG), have urged the people of the area not to participate in the 2019 general elections.   They said urged “all Biafra citizens should adopt this stance and boycott these elections.”
According to them, “BGIE and BSG arrived at this position on the basis that our activities are fully geared towards the restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra, also based on the following fact.
“No government of Nigeria or administration of any arm of Nigeria’s government within Nigeria’s current geopolitical space supports Biafra in any form or configuration, beginning in 1966.     “The fact of the Biafra war and aftermath did nothing to change and has never changed this reality. Adoption of electoral democracy in Nigeria starting from 1999 has not altered this truth, nor has the various pernicious exercises of state-creation by Nigeria.
“At the end of every electoral season and exercise, Nigeria will always produce results / winners, therewith, ushering a “new” administrative unit, regardless of whether voters cast votes or how they actually voted. That’s a fact. It is also a fact that such an administration, regardless of the conduct of the elections, has a principled and inherent opposition to anything Biafra or any mention of Biafra, even in Biafra land. For that matter, every political party registered in Nigeria must have signed an oath that makes it the functional equivalent of a criminal and or treasonable offense to adopt Biafra as the party’s standard or platform.
“What does this mean? It means that there will in fact be an administration the day after Nigerian elections. That administration is pre-guaranteed to be 100% anti-Biafran. So, if we vote, there will be an anti-Biafran administration. If we don’t vote, there will also be an equally anti-Biafran administration.
“We do not need to tell you what an anti-Biafran administration feels like in Biafra land. You started feeling that from 1966 before the war. Then, after the war, from 1970 until today, and this will be your fate for as long as Biafra remains forcibly annexed into Nigeria. (By the way, Biafrans in diaspora have not been spared Nigeria’s anti-Biafran activities.)”
They added that “If we vote, we are supporting our own perpetual slavery by endorsing and consenting to our own eternal enslavement.
“If we don’t vote, we are exercising the only freedom we have in this matter, which is to say, no, to unconscionable subjugation. We are in effect saying ‘I know you will kill us, and we do not have the power to stop you at this time, but we will never submit to you and make it easier by offering you our unprotected neck.’
“Whether Biafrans vote or not, the status quo will remain the same, hence our position to encourage Biafrans to boycott the exercise and focus on gaining their freedom and extricating themselves from Nigeria.
“The sovereignty of Biafra must be restored; we reassert our irreducible belief in the principles of self-determination as enshrined in the UN Charter as the way forward. We are doing something about it.
” If President Buhari could openly support and call for the UN to act now in respect to self-determination for Palestinians and Western Sahara people, then, it is also right for the people of Biafra.
“We want to also state that we wish Nigeria well in whatever way they want to follow to improve their country, because in the final analysis, Nigeria if still in existence will be Biafra’s closest neighbour. Biafra will always strive to live in peace with her neighbours.
“We restate the right of Biafrans to self-determination as enshrined in international law and convention. We emphasize that in fulfilling this right, Biafra neither wages war nor peace with Nigeria; Biafra seeks her own survival and shall have it.”

Nnamdi Kanu is anti-Christ, deceitful – Prophet Nwoko warns IPOB members

Image result for Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu is anti-Christ, deceitful – Prophet Nwoko warns IPOB members
Nwoko said the IPOB leader was an anti-Christ and a businessman who does not have the interest of the Igbo nation at heart.    Addressing reporters in Enugu on Monday, Nwoko also warned Kanu’s followers to stop their allegiance to him, adding that the IPOB leader would only use and dump them at critical time.  A popular Enugu-based prophet, Anthony Nwoko, has described the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu as an anti-Christ and deceitful.  The cleric stated that members of IPOB were ignorant of the true character of Kanu.   He said: “Nnamdi Kanu is a betrayer. Nnamdi Kanu doesn’t love Igbo nation. Nnamdi Kanu will use you and dump you. Nnamdi Kanu is a business man in politics. Nnamdi Kanu has nothing to give except deceit.
“I have sent so many messages to Nnamdi Kanu for him to accept Christ. Nnamdi Kanu is an Antichrist against the glory of God. Since he doesn’t want the Holy Spirit to come in, he is using everything within his power to destroy the Igbo nation. But our God has said no.  “Nnamdi Kanu has taken an oath with IPOB members telling them that he has the authority to save and that whatever he tells them is what they will believe. Very soon when the light of God emanates, he will come back to his senses.  “The people are equally ignorant. They don’t even know who to follow. Nnamdi Kanu puts on a crown and calls himself supreme leader and everything you can think of.    “Nnamdi Kanu will fall soon. The power of the whole world is taking over the universe and Nnamdi Kanu will run away from Israel because by the time the Israelite understand that this man is a crook, they will throw him out of their nation.   “Nnamdi Kanu, wash your hands. You are there in Israel without knowing that Biafra is greater than Isreal in the spiritual realm. Biafra is controlling the world in the spiritual real. So Nnamdi Kanu will soon come back to the southeast of Nigeria, precisely Enugu state and welcome the blessings of God.
“My fellow Biafrans, forget about the deal of Nnamdi Kanu if you want salvation to get to your hand because this road of salvation is built in the southeast of Nigeria.
“Other nations and people of the world will come to the glory in the southeast of Nigeria and see the glory that will fill this nation. The oil is not the bone of contention.   “If Nnamdi had died in Afara Ukwu his homeland (during the Python Dance), they would said that Nnamdi was their saviour who was killed.
“They would say that we have lost a saviour for the second time in the world. But the angels removed Nnamdi Kanu for him to accomplish all his dirty works which he is still going on with today.”   The prophet further stated that the 2019 elections was an effort in futility as it will not bring peace and progress to the country, stressing that Nigeria’s leadership in the past has only brought misery upon the people.
“The APC and the PDP connived but the heaven have rejected them completely. On the part of Atiku and Buhari, they are all birds of a feather. These two Fulanis will not rule Nigeria again.
“Tell Buhari and Atiku that there is oppression, injustice, violence, armed robbery, kidnapping, corruption all over the nation, nepotism, student protest, labour protest, hate speeches, bomb explosion, flood, Boko Haram, avengers, herdsmen, Python Dance and the slavery that characterized the APC and PDP administrations.
“APC and PDP have failed the nation. You cannot eat you cake and have it. Only God will solve the problem of this nation. Not Buhari, Not Atiku.
“My people in Biafra land, Nigeria, Africa and all the nations of the earth, listen to the voice of God. No man has fought God and lived to tell the story. God is the ultimate in the Biafran nation. God is the light of the Biafran nation.
“God is the glory of the Biafran nation. Enugu state is a city to watch right now, because the moon, the star are in Enugu.
“Today I’m telling Biafran believers who believe that God can do it to come out en masse to welcome the glory of the world. God never does a partial thing. It is left for you people to come out now in 2019,” he said.

BIAFRA : 2019 Why we’re working for Buhari’s re-election – Igbo group

Image result for 2019: Why we’re working for Buhari’s re-election – Igbo group
The group, in a press briefing by its coordinator, Mr Chido Obidiegwu, an aide of Governor Willie Obiano, said it had taken time to make proper evaluation of the options available to Ndigbo in the coming presidential election and concluded that President Buhari was way better an option.  He said, “One-on-One Nigeria is an independent network of ndi Igbo determined to achieve Igbo Presidency by returning President Buhari for second term.  President Muhammadu Buhari’s support group, One-on-One Nigeria has stated that its support for the president was to quicken the attainment of a president of Igbo extraction. “This, we do through a massive awareness campaign to convince ndi Igbo that four years of President Buhari is better than eight years of any other person, we hope to achieve this dream via a project Tagged 4 Is Better Than 8.”   The group argued that the Igbo pitched tents with President Jonathan and humiliated President Buhari in the zone during the 2015 presidential election, stressing that contrary to expectation that President Buhari would retaliate, he rather took Igbo in by undertaking infrastructural projects in the zone.  “In his wisdom and magnanimity President Buhari, hearkened to the former and began to address the Igbo’s most pressing needs which bordered mainly on infrastructural development.  “To this end, he began serious work on the long abandoned second Niger Bridge, the long abandoned Enugu Port Harcourt express way, the Zik’s Mausoleum, Ariaria Aba Independent Power Project, etc. These, among other projects Igbos yearned for over 16 years now and could only be realized under President Muhammadu Buhari.”  Obidiegwu added that Buhari had demonstrated his love for the Igbo by picking Dr Chuba Okadigbo and Hon Edwin Umezuoke as running mates during his first two attempts at the presidency.  “Successive military and civilian administrations could not do much to elevate the Igbo spirit as desired and deserved. It only took President Buhari who Igbos rejected at the polls to address some of their key desires abandoned by previous regimes.    “President Buhari’s other national socio-economic and political interventions have also endeared him to well meaning compatriots, hence the tacit support by One-on-One Nigeria for President Buhari’s 2” term as a vehicle of achieving Igbo Presidency come 2023.
“Given that he is steering the ship of the nation aright and believing that the fastest and the best avenue for Igbos to clinch the presidency of Nigeria not in 8 years time but in 4 years time which only President Buhari can offer, we in One-on-One Nigeria are resolute and unequivocal in our support for this 2nd tenure,” Obidiegwu said.    The group, which mainly consists of members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and aides of Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, promised to work hard to promote Buhari’s second term bid, arguing that the matter was beyond political affiliation but interest of the Igbo.

Femi Fani-Kayode: Are you Buhari or Jubril?

Image result for Femi Fani-Kayode: Are you Buhari or Jubril?
Some are convinced by these words from the man who says he is Buhari but there are still many who, like the biblical Thomas, have their doubts.
I can hardly blame them because a clone will not say that he is a clone and neither will a body-double say he is a body-double.  “One of the questions that came up today in my meeting with Nigerians in Poland was on the issue of whether I‘ve been cloned or not. The ignorant rumors are not surprising. When I was away on medical vacation last year a lot of people hoped I was dead. I can assure you all that this is the real me!”- President Muhammadu Buhari, 2nd December, Krakow, Poland.  It is in the same way that a vampire will not say he is a vampire, a tyrant will not say he is a tryrant, a genocidal maniac will not say he is a genocidal maniac and a mass murderer will not say he is a mass murderer.
And neither will an ethnic supremacist or religious bigot ever admit to being an ethnic supremacist or a religious bigot. The blanket denial of ugly and hidden truths is the first law of the scoundrel and the natural habitat of the dictator.
Such is the way of those that have been intoxicated with power and that live by deceit, cunning and guile: they lose all sense of logic, reason and rationality and they flourish in a dark world of intrigue, subtefuge, deception, delusion and illusion.   Seven examples will suffice: Adolf Hitler claimed to be a democrat, Pol Pot claimed to be God-fearing, Atilla the Hun claimed to be an angel, Ghengis Khan claimed to be benevolent, Josef Stalin claimed to be a deliverer, Idi Amin claimed to be the messiah and Augusto Pinochet claimed to be a peacemaker yet history recalls that all seven were nothing but hideous bloodthirsty monsters and cold-blooded mass murderers.
An eighth example is that of the reigning Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Mohammed Bin Salman, who, in the light of mounting evidence to the contrary, claims that he is a just and compassionate ruler who had nothing to do with the gruesome murder and dismemberment of the American-based Saudi journalist, Jamal Khasshogi in the Saudi Arabian embassy in Turkey.
If there was ever a case of wilful self-delusion, unadulterated mendacity, byzantine intrigue and good old-fashioned double-speak, this is it. Sadly such deceitful, sociopathic and barbaric behaviour is not limited to those distant climes.
Many of those in Nigerian politics also betray this trait and are also afflicted with this sad and sorry disposition.
There is always a hidden truth, an angle, a grey area or an unseen dimension to everything that a Nigerian leader or politician says or does. It is in the light of this that I submit the following.
If President Muhammadu Buhari really wants us to believe that he is not Jubril Aminu Al Sudani I challenge him to have a two-hour inter-active no-holds barred live media chat on national television.
I challenge him to take off his hat and let us examine his head and hair.
I challenge him to let us measure his ears and inspect his earlobes.
I challenge him to conduct a one hour non-stop conversation in Fufude, the Fulani language, on national television.
I challenge him to explain how it is that he is now a good deal shorter in height than he was two years ago.
I challenge him to tell us how it is that two years ago he looked like his Minister of Information’s (Lai Mohammed’s) grandfather, but today he looks like the Minister’s grandson.
I challenge him to explain why he has not been going back to the United Kingdom for regular medical check-ups after his “miraculous” recovery from a strange and debilitating illness that ravaged and wrecked his body and that almost sent him to his grave.
I challenge him to call out Eric Stuart Joyce, the former Brirish MP, former Army officer and former MI6 agent, for declaring him dead sometime last year and for accusing the Nigerian intelligensia, authorities, media, intelligence agencies and ruling elite of being complicit in the conspiracy and the Nigerian people of being the most gullible and naive in the world.
I challenge him to explain why he did not appear with any of the key world leaders in any of the official pictures during his last trip to Paris.
I challenge him to explain why President Donald Trump described him as “lifeless” and ordered his staff never to bring him before him again.
I challenge him to explain why the First Lady, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, claims that two faceless, nameless, shadowy, strange and all-powerful individuals, whose shoes other government officials “lick”, are running the affairs of our country and not him.
I challenge him to explain why he has refused to give one formal press interview to Nigerian journalists and on Nigerian soil for the last two years.
I challenge him to deny the fact that body-doubles were often used in the civilised world during the 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s for security reasons and they often represented Presidents, Prime Ministers and Heads of State at official     Image result for Femi Fani-Kayode: Are you Buhari or Jubril?
Finally I challenge him to tell us whether it was a coincidence that Haibu Almu, the Nigerian Consul-General to the Sudan and NIA agent that allegedly discovered Jubril Aminu Al Sudani and proposed him as a credible and convincing body-double for the ailing Buhari in 2016, was suddenly knifed to death in Khartoum in May 2018 just a few weeks after his alleged role in the whole sordid “body-double” saga was made public.
I do not believe that Buhari is a clone but I do believe that the body-double allegation and rumour is worthy of our attention and consequently needs to be thoroughly investigated, explored and examined.
Though I cannot vouch for the veracity of this allegation and rumour one thing is clear: a significant number of Nigerians do not believe that the man in Aso Rock Villa is the Buhari that they know and, rightly or wrongly, their perception is that there is something fishy going on.
Given their disposition and suspicions, I submit that there is only one course of action that can settle this raging issue conclusively and bring closure to it: a DNA test organised and administered by a highly respected and certified foreign medical practitioner who must be jointly approved and appointed by the World Health Organisation, Medecins Sans Frontieres
and the Red Cross and who must conduct this crucial assignment under the direct supervision and auspices of the United Nations.
A jocular and dismissive statement from the distant shores of Poland saying “I am not a clone” will not make this matter go away. And neither will a predictable affirmation from the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chief Chris Ngige, that the President is the real Buhari provide the necessary evidence or assurance.
We demand to know the true identity of the person presiding over the affairs of our nation and, if it is indeed Jubril Aminu Al Sudani, we wish to know where our beloved President Muhammadu Buhari is and what they have done with him.
No matter how absurd these questions may appear to be to some, this is a democracy and we have a right to ask them.
Yet the truth is that nothing surprises me anymore in Nigeria and consequently I believe that anything, including the absurd, is possible.
If we can elect a man that cannot produce (and in my view never had) a WAEC certificate as President and one that can celebrate the fact that he was awarded an “attestation certificate” from WAEC in 2018 at the ripe old age of 80 (yes 80), then the assertion that we are being ruled by a body double is entirely possible and cannot be completely ruled out.
That is how degenerate and degraded our country has become over the last three years and six months.
The worst atrocity that the President, the Federal Government and the ruling APC party has inflicted on us as a people over the last 42 months is not the genocide that we have suffered under them, it is not the mass murders and it is not the ethnic cleansing.
It is not the fact that our country is now the most dangerous place for women to give birth to in the world, it is not the fact that we now have the highest illiteracy rate in the world and it is not the fact that more Nigerian children are out of school than any other country in the world.
It is not the fact that Nigeria now has the highest number of child brides and practising pedophiles in the world, it is not the fact that there are now more beggars in the streets of Nigeria than any other country in the world and it is not the fact that Nigeria is now the highest producer of HIV positive babies in the world.
It is not the fact that 40% of our people and 70% of our graduates are now unemployed, it is not the fact that 50% of Nigerians are now living in extreeme poverty, it is not the fact that our stock market has lost over 2 trillion naira in one year and it is not the fact that our country is now the poverty capital of the world.
It is not the fact that we are now the third most terrorised nation in the world and it is not the fact that we are now home to the first and fourth most deadly terrorist organisations in the world.
It is not the fact that over the last three years and six months the naira has depreciated by over 150% and it is not the fact that our government is attempting to bribe voters with public funds in the name of “trader-moni”.
It is not the humiliation, abuse of power and vengeful and vicious persecution that those of us that dared to resist them over the last three years and six months, that had the courage of our convictions and that remained loyal to our party have been subjected to.
It is not the storming of homes, arbitary arrest and unlawful detention of key opposition figures, it is not the harrasment of their family members or the freezing of their bank accounts and it is not the fact that we have sank lower than ever before in our entire history on Transparancy International’s international corruption index.
It is not the fact that Priti Patel, a British Member of Parliament and the United Kingdom’s former Minister of State for International Development, has warned foreign investors not to invest in Nigeria because the Government refuses to obey court orders and it is not the fact that the International Criminal Court at the Hague (ICC) has accused the Nigerian military of committing crimes against humanity.
It is not the fact that we are now more divided than ever before along religious, ethnic and regional lines and it is not the fact that the Federal Government has destroyed our economy and thrown 14 million people into penury and unemployment over the last three years.
It is not the fact that they have emboldened and strengthened Boko Haram, it is not the fact that law and order has broken down under their watch and it is not the fact that they have consistently nurtured, supported, assisted and protected the cruel and murderous herdsmen.
It is not the fact that they have lied to the Nigerian people and to the world that they have defeated Boko Haram, it is not the fact that the West African branch of ISIS now carries out terrorist operations in various parts of our country and it is not the fact that a new and utterly ruthless Malian militia now carries out terrorist operations in the north west.
It is not the fact that they have insulted CAN, marginalised Christians and humiliated the Church and it is not the fact that they are shielding and protecting military officers and Boko Haram members who committ atrocities.
It is not the fact that they have slaughtered thousands of Shiite Muslims and it is not the fact that they have demonised IPOB, labelled it a terrorist organisation, butchered thousands of its youths and sought to destroy it even though its members have never threatened violence, attacked or killed anyone, waged an armed conflict on the state or carried guns.
It is not the fact that 13.5 million Nigerians voted without a PVC in the 2015 presidential election and that 75% of them did so in the states where Buhari “won”.
It is not the fact that they have wilfully refused to sign the Electoral Act Amendement Bill, it is not the fact that they have blatently refused to heed the patriotic call for restructuring of the country and it is not the fact that they have looted, stolen and plundered more public funds than any other government in the history of our country.
It is not the fact that one of the greatest sons of Africa and one of the most respected and reverred world leaders and elderstatesmen that has ever lived, President Olusegun Obasanjo, recently and rightly said when commenting on the performance of the Buhari administration that “only a fool will sit on the fence or be neutral when his or her country is being destroyed with incompetence, corruption, lack of focus, insecurity, nepotism, brazen impunity and denial of the obvious”.
It is not the fact that every single Nigerian former Head of State and President has given the Buhari administration a vote of no confidence and has refused to endorse them for a second term.
As frightful, scandalous and unacceptable as all these failings are, not a single one of them demeans, diminishes and damages us more than the possibility that, for the first time in our history and indeed the history of the entire world, a massive multi-religious, multi-ethnic and multi-cultural nation such as ours is saddled with a President that many genuinly believe is not who he says he is and that some believe is a foreigner and a body-double!

Pastor Olise, who is a friend to the father of the twin girls, is facing a two-count charge bordering on child defilement  A 54-year-old pastor, Michael Olise, has been remanded in Kirikiri Prison by an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly defiling 12-year-old twin girls (names withheld).  The defendant is said to be a pastor at a church, Anointing Chosen Vessel, Governor’s Road, Ikotun, Lagos.
The prosecuting police officer, Raphael Dony, told the court that the offence was committed in November at 2 Okanlawon Street, Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos.
In the first count, Pastor Olise was alleged to have unlawfully defiled the first twin girl on November 15 at about 1500 hrs and thereby committed an offence contrary to section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015.
In the second count, Pastor Olise was alleged to have sometime in November between 1000 hrs and 1600 hrs unlawfully and sexually assaulted the second twin girl by fingering her private part and thereby committed an offence contrary to section 261 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015.
According to information before the court, the defendant retained a room in the house where the twin girls lived with their parents where he allegedly defiled the girls in turn.
Pastor Olise was said to have carried out the dastardly act when the mother of the girls travelled out of the country on a business trip while the father was at work.
Prosecutor Dony added that “the father noticed a change in the way the girls walked and on being questioned, they narrated what the defendant did to them to their father.
“The father later reported the matter to the police station in Okota which led to Pastor’s arrest.”
After the charge was read, Magistrate Bola Osunsanmi refused to grant bail to the defendant.
She ordered Pastor Olise to be remanded in Kirikiri prison and adjourned the matter till January 23.

Buhari not in charge, Nigeria being run by many presidents

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has alleged that “cabals ruling Nigeria” are divided and confused. Secondus said this while stressing that Nigeria was currently being run by a “college of Presidents as nobody is really in charge of governance in the country at the moment.”
He spoke at a town hall meeting of PDP presidential candidate with youths in Lagos on Monday as was reported in a statement sent to DAILY POST by his spokesperson, Ike Abonyi.  The PDP National Chairman stated that the “country was going down because nobody was in charge,” adding that the “cabals who hijacked the Presidency are divided and confused and Nigeria youths are the victim.” e stated that “President Muhammadu Buhari is not in charge of the situation and does not know what is happening in the country.”
