THE BRITISH, THE FULANI AND THE FUTURE OF ONE NIGERIA 3:
If
there is practical efforts to resolve the major problems of
post-colonial Africa as identified by the current American president
while campaigning to be voted in as American President a position he now
pretty occupy now, then the issue of artificial colonial African
boundaries that emanated from the Berlin conference of 1884/1885 must be
the starting point.
We cannot deny certain major indigenous nations
under the pretense of creating the concept of Nation-building by making
and creating them into slavery under the garb of building fake Sovereign
System called States with strange bed fellows with domineering and
feudal ideologies. As a pro-Yoruba Nationalist who holds strongly,
repentantly to the inevitable need for a Yoruba Republic and freedom for
the people of Biafra, it is imperative that the issues and factors
surrounding the concept of homogeneity of indigenous nations forcefully
co-opted into artificial boundaries must be the first step in resolving
issues and conflicts confronting African diverse human population.
When the international community desire a permanent solution to the
myriads of destructive crisis and wars emanating from the Continent of
Africa on daily basis which is occasioning humanitarian crisis and
prolong poverty, then the United Nations must proactively set up an
affirmative action committee to be comprises of countries like the
United States, Russia ,China, and the others who were not majorly parts
or beneficiaries of the Berlin debacle on the Africa continent in
1884/1885 and the mandate of this United Nations committee, is to
objectively and critically look at the root cause of series of crisis in
various theaters on the African continent and invoke all well known
international instruments, series of conferences resolutions and
conventions in areas where they will be needed to profess a lasting
solutions to the conflicts and unending war on the Continent. The
African Union as a current body that superintending African affairs will
only function in observer
capacity during the working of the above
United Nations committee.
The Final recommended reports of the Above
committee will be forwarded to the United Nations General Assembly for
policy formulation and recommended action, which will then be followed
by the final approval of the United Nations Security Council, which
final position will then be forwarded to the African Union and other
sub-Regional bodies in all the political regions in Africa for permanent
implementation. Then a general referendum in affected areas can now be
employ as a
mechanism of Conflict resolution to give democratic credence
to all the above methodology.
WHY THE NEED FOR THE ABOVE PROPOSAL:
Africa is known by documented reports from various international
sources to be a continent with the highest numbers of failed States
which in other words can be described as States with the highest numbers
of incompatible human citizens on the basis of ethnicity, Religion,
culture, economic inequalities, ideological peculiar histories and
differences in criticality of perception in world view and foreign
policy objectives. These natural realities majorly lead to contestant
of power dominance engineered by evil former colonial masters in order
to create a state of permanent political and economic disorderliness to
the advantage of these metropolitan states while the affected states
descends to the levels of massive deaths of genocidal dimensions and
permanent wars. These issues remain protracted because the nature of the
human population in these African states is not compatibly homogeneous
in all ramifications.
Since the Europeans that create these
problems, without any previous consultation nor consent of Africa’s
ancestors, shared the continent among those countries of Europe. These
Europeans States became colonial powers on the continent of Africa and
other lands belonging to indigenous diverse African Nations. e.g, Biafra
and the Yoruba Nation in West Africa. For one thing, and as James
Coleman noted in his book, the Berlin Conference of the year in
question, 1885,duly acknowledge British claims to the Niger-Basin. This
of course, was confirming the position held by Percy Anderson, head of
Africa desk in the British Foreign Office-who boldly stated in his
memorandum at the conference (Berlin conference) that “We must take our
seat as the Niger power” From then on, each European power would
administer his territory without any regard or references to our
ancestors. The wishes, the views and indeed the interests of the Yoruba
nation and people, Biafrans and that of other indigenous African nations
were of no consequences to the colonial powers.
As would be
expected, the whole of the African territories consequently became an
extensive scene of economic exploitation, political domination,
oppression and unabashed usurpation, by using inferior nations like that
of the Fulani and their likes over Africa to continue their overt
control of lives and resources of African indigenous nations, under the
cover of creating Nation-States in Africa during the decolonization
process on the continent. Resulting from acquisition of colonial powers,
grave problems arose for African continent. To begin with, the
immediate and future interests of Africans e.g Yoruba nation and Biafra
notwithstanding, their human resources, their natural and mineral
resources, were exploited to meet the economic interests of Europeans.
The mode, the direction and pattern of trade and business generally were
imposed upon the Africans. The ensuring situation was like slavery and
the slave-trading having been thrown out of the front door, they were
brought back through backdoor, including the creation of artificial
pseudo economic centers they referred to as State e.g., Nigeria, thus
still holding Yoruba nation, Biafra and other African indigenous nations
in economic chains. What inevitably followed were economic
strangulation and impoverishment.
The daily life and political
affairs of African indigenous nations were, to greater extent,
controlled by the colonial powers working with their local agents such
as the Fulani and later became Hausa-Fulani co-conspirators so others
like their likes that were used to subjugate other African indigenous
nations were imposed on the leadership of fake sovereign entities they
bequeathed to post pseudo independent Africa.
If you are a sane
mind with unbiased indoctrination of naked pan-Nigerianism, you ask
yourself, why the country named Nigeria had never for once experience
peace and development. Ask yourself, as you reading this message, and do
a deep retrospection on why there is no bond, among the various major
indigenous nations, who were the compromised inheritors of the
misconceived Nigeria country? Ask yourself why a Yoruba Muslims see
nothing wrong with the nature of his people oppressors, yet do not love
a Biafran, who only is demanding, he or she do not want to belong to
same country with the Fulani person or be ruled by their political
gladiators, as a Nigerian? Why will do the North always think that they
must always have their ways and other must not, or else there will be
war on issues bothering on either ,one Nigeria must remain one or not?
Is there anything so fantastic about this one Nigeria miasma if not for
the oppressors to threaten war whenever the issues involve or stake,
concern the unity of the British created Nigeria?
We as Yoruba
Republic nationalists,who are strong friends of Biafra ,will continue
to reveal more information on the unbreakable secret pacts Between the
British Crown, Her Majesty Government and the Sokoto Caliphate,
including all the Emirs of the North and their major political
stakeholders in what is their private property, One Nigeria. Where are
the Yoruba nation and people in all of these?
