Biafra : Russia helped Nigeria defeat Biafra during Civil War – Buhari

Buhari said Nigeria’s relationship with Russia began in 1960 with the old Soviet Union, saying that Russia helped Nigeria with military assistance during the civil war against the Biafran forces. Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has revealed how Russia helped Nigeria defeat the Biafra warlords during the nation’s civil war between 1967 and 1970. BIAFRA : Police allegedly shoot 17 IPOB members, 70 others arrested

A combined team of Nigeria Armed Forces invaded the venue of a peaceful IPOB gathering in Ebonyi LGA at 5pm on Sunday 27 October 2019 with more than 50 Hilux vans during an inauguration ceremony and opened fire on defenceless mothers and fathers without warning. Nnamdi Kanu alleges attack on IPOB members in Ebonyi

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has raised alarm over fresh attack on its members. Kanu in a post on Sunday night said some security operatives invaded the venue of IPOB gathering and opened fire on them. The incident happened in Ebonyi state during a meeting by the IPOB members The IPOB leader added that some members were seriously injured and in critical condition following the incident. Kanu said this on his official Twitter page. He wrote: “A combined team of security operatives invaded the venue of IPOB gathering in Ebonyi and opened fire on innocent citizens. “Early reports indicate many are seriously injured, with some in critical condition.”

Former lawmaker, Senator Muslihu El-Jibrin Doguwa has said that any region that breaks away from Nigeria will cry. BIAFRA : ‘We don’t need another war to actualise Biafra’

BIAFRA : Allow Nnamdi Kanu Come Home To Bury His Mother – Imo Monarchs Tell FG

This appeal came at Amakwo Event Centre in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State. The royal fathers led by HRM Eze Gideon Ejike said,  “Kanu is not a terrorist. Terrorists kill but we are yet to see any bloodshed by Kanu. He is our hero and should be allowed to bury his mother before the beginning of next year. Ohanaeze Ndigbo reacts to death of Nnamdi Kanu’s mother

BIAFRA NEWS MEN reported that Kanu announced the death of his mother, Ugoeze Sally Meme Kanu on Sunday morning He said his mother died on 30th August in Germany after doctors were unable to cure her of a protracted illness and accused the federal government of contributing to the death. The apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has commiserated with the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, on the death of his mother. “We urge you to take heart and find solace in the teachings of our Lord, which gives all believers the hope that, in the end, all true believers shall unite in everlasting communion in His Kingdom. May her gentle soul rest in peace.”

IPOB : We want Biafra not Igbo presidency

A Pentecostal cleric, Bishop Abraham Udeh of Mount Zion Faith Global Liberation Ministries Inc Nnewi, on Wednesday said what the Igbos wanted was Biafra and not presidency.
